Terry what are the alternative payment methods ?

Hiya Ben, I've PM'd about cheque payment if you don't have VISA or Mastercard (Credit/Debit)

Most happy to do that - Humbla is sending a cheque too.

Tickets (with receipts) have now been sent to these postcodes (latest > first)...

2795, 2166, 2095, 5013, 2138, 2232, 2148. :)

It's been fascinating to watch so far, that every person has purchased 'multiples' of cinema tickets eg. 6, 4 or 2.

Needless to say, there will be lots of 'single' purchases along this 'journey'.

The Helpers/Organisers for this "Godzilla Event" are...

Nick aka Black_Widow

Matt aka God_speed

Shehan aka lankanboiiR34

Shanil aka SHANE666

Bobby aka NISMO

Eric aka Pezhead

Sam aka Rocklee

myself

+ Kat aka GTRKat (with the ACT contingent)

Without the above and SAU, nothing & I mean nothing, would get done.

The efficiency of how most of us got the 10th ANNIV of the R34 GT-R in April last year up 'n running within 6 weeks was remarkable!

And nothing on the 10/10/10 will happen unless Attendees like yourselves make this Event a sellout!

So, don't just come to the cruise; buy your tickets NOW @ $15 each (as per Payment options in the 1st Post)

Sorry if I'm just dumb Terry, just making sure, send $30 for two people? :( Very keen to come to this. Big trek, but worth it.

Not dumb! Just $15 for each bum!

So yes Owen, $30 on Visa or M/C with name + card# + expiry# + phone# + address; to send you the receipt & 2 tickets for entry to cinema.

Above details are to be e-mailed to [email protected]

'Twas good to see you again at the AGM! :P

Yep ill be in for this with the missus........this will be my first SAU cruise. +2

Yes Simon, just send those details of yours please to [email protected]

Enclose Name + VISA or M/C debit/credit card# + expiry# + address + Phone#

...if you will. Cinema Tickets and receipt will be out to you within a couple of days.

This is a great day for the girls too!

OK David lol

FYI, the aggregate of Postcodes (in reverse order - ie. last > first) where "purchased cinema tickets" and "receipts" have been mailed are...

4210, 2615, 2203, 2795, 2166, 2095, 5013, 2138, 2232, 2148. :P

Awesome, will do that next Wed/Thur, gotta wait for payday! So if it's filling up fast, I'm screwed

Was good to see everyone at the AGM! :D

Had a look on Google maps, it works out to be around 113km.. But I could be wrong

That's right mate, there's a GoogleMaps link underneath the map in the first post which gives turn-by-turn directions and says the cruise part is 112km, from the start point at Penrith, to The Edge at Katoomba. The distance from Katoomba back home also needs to be considered. But we've already got people coming from interstate, so the distance shouldn't be a barrier!

This is definitely something to look forward to, and we're expecting a great turnout. :D

    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
