What kind of problems would i have with regency if i this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...56#entry5337356

Performance Features....

- Splitfire coil packs - no problems

- 550cc injectors - out for Regency

- 550 hp ATR-43 turbo - out for Regency

- Z32 Air flow meter - off

- Stealth return flow front mount intercooler - fine as long as no chassis is modified, holes are cut properly and mounting is secure

- Greddy turbo timer - take it out for regency

- Nistune ECU - not sure, but probably remove

- Trust turbo back exhaust - as long as its quiet enough

- Extreme heavy duty street button clutch - fine

- Walbro fuel pump - fine

- Tuned by Dr Drift on a safe tune of 236rwkw at only 15psi, easy to drive (I drive it everyday) and decent fuel economy. Will easily get 450kms to 50 litres with highway driving.

The wheels are 18's, with Kumho ku36's on the rear. - should be ok by the looks.

well unless you know how to take the turbo and injectors out, i wouldnt do it yourself. But alot of those mods aren't standout type mods, so you should be fine for an ID inspection.

I'd leave the turbo on if you take it through regency as with the Z32 AFM - Only if you get pulled up on it. I'd leave the nistune ecu, absolutely no way they'll know, even if they pull the ECU apart I put my balls on the line they won't know what they're looking for. Injectors can be a kent to do, turbo timer could take 2 minutes.

The 34 looks stunning mate btw!

Yeah those look pretty bad - though I've seen worse (check out some of the r33s on the road!)

Anyways, you can polish them up with various products - I've tried just about everything from plastx to toothpaste to brasso. I recently used one called 'glassylite': http://www.glassylite.net.au/ which was supposed to have a UV sealant and stop the clouding happening again. Guess we'll see if it works!

Got other pics of the car?

Another prospect car.

My only concerns are:

1. its nearly due to 100k service

2. selling it on behalf of his friend who is over seas

3. not sure exactly what to look for when inspecting it (anyone come along with me help me check it out)

i've seen this car parked on the side of the road in Modbury with the for sale signs up in the window. It looked VERY clean on the outside

The guy i rang "Jeff" was selling it on behalf of his friend who was over seas, i dont know how that would work (signing it over) without him being there :S

But im sick of seeing silver skylines, gotta go black or red :P

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
