I hate this stuff.. In the year i've had my car i have seen someone hit it while it was parked in a car park, luckily i got the details. Had dents put in the roof by god knows what. The other week walked back to my car to find someone had reversed into it denting the number plate and cracking the paint. Did some door knocking but no one saw anything. I have hence dubbed it the shit magnet.

saw a couple of 15 yearolds once key someones car cus they couldn't joyride it because it had an alarm/imobiliser in it so it was to hard to brake in, held them there till the cops showed up, and the cops were like is the parents that are going to have to pay for the damage, i would have loved to kick their asses before the cops got there if i knew they would get off that easy.

there's no respect for peoples property these days

My car was keyed twice, on friday and last night saturday in an underground residential parking lot.

If this sh!t happens again, it's looking very much like one of the residents.

You haven't bumped into anyone in the corridor?

Have a suspect, wat do?

Do you have an alternative "safer" car parking spot avail.?

Does he (assuming a he) have a nice car?

If he has a nice car and yours is parked elsewhere, you can lean on it, have lunch on it and he'll feel the persecution! > get insomnia > blood pressure rises > cardiac arrest > red carnation on his coffin compliments of MRSAMO.

move your car somewhere else, and whoever parks there after you is probably the person who keyed your car- if your absolutely sure that it was the parking that was the issue. then slash tyres.

i agree, move the car in a clearly visible location but i disagree with the slash tires comment as the ass that did this to your car may be away and someone else uses the spot, you would make things worse with the locals or worse get caught, try talk to the tenants there, see if they had similar issues and see if anyone suspects someone, most times u will find an old lady that has nothing better to do than spy on her neighbor, with a bit of luck you might be able to park near her view so you can get free surveillance ..lol

    • Hi folks. Haven't driven  my Satgea for quite a while, connected the battery and noticed the brake lights are staying on. I've located the switch which is working. It seems when I have my foot off the brake the switch isn't touching the pedal. Before I loosen the nut and adjust it, just wanted to ask whether there should be a rubber block or something between the pedal and the switch. Just seems odd that I'd have to reposition the switch. Seems more likely to me there must be a rubber or something that's come off.
    • Yes customized and built from scratch pretty much after finally finding a local towbar supply and install place that was willing to do something "different". Very happy with it for sure 👌
    • Yeah. I'd need it for the extra miles required to get to and from the handful of E85 outlets.** **Not quite true. But the sparseness of them is good enough reason to stay on 98, for me at least.
    • at least on E85 you would get about 450km per tank... if that's some kind of unit of measure.
