Hey guys

I just got my ps3 a few days ago, and i noticed that the analogue sticks are nowhere as responsive as my xbox360 controller.

ps3 was new out of the box.....

finding it hard to get 'fine' movement, and yes, ive changed the sensitivity, im running at 9

anyone had this problem and fixed it?

I have both a 360 and ps3 and haven't noticed a difference. Any of your friend's have ps3s so you can try their controller?

yeah thats the next plan, going to steal one of their controllers tomorrow :D

I think you are prob just used to the xbox controller.. I mainly run on Xbox also.. But when i play my PS3 it feels so different...

it does feel different but still

it seems like i have to push the PS3 controller much further one way to get the movement

Shouldn't that game best be played on PC

I don't play COD but anything similar to that style of first person shooter, I play Aliens vs Predator and Resident Evil (Over the shoulder point of view) and it seems fine or I am just use to it...

As said, try a different PS3 controller and see how you go.

are you sure the sensitivity isnt set higher or lower then your used to in COD?

My friend plays with it on a really sensitive setting and i find it impossible to use nearly and I use around medium setting and its fine for me

Sixaxis. It's pretty cool but for the most part not worth using lol. I use it in gta 4 but only for reloading my gun (have it set so if you flick the controller towered you it reloads)

Other then that I haven't really found a reason why you need it. The playstation controls are already really good to use

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
