Hi guys, I'am a new member here and looking forward to possibly getting an R32 GTR in the near future. I currently have an S14a. And like the thought of RB26TT and 4WD :spank:

Getting to the point I have seen the price of these cars range from $20,000 to $35,000 stock. Whats does the extra money get me?

How much do you think it would cost me to get a nice clean, relatively low km's R32 GTR. I willing to pay more if its worth doing it that way.

sure is but no workshops have compliance for R32s at the moment (although I'm sure its coming now the 15 year rule is getting the chop).

QikQTR I think you've just gotta get a proper mechanical inspection of the car, they may be well engineered cars, but they're also 10-15 year old sports cars...and very few have only been driven to church on Sunday :)

As you can see, no 32s or 34s yet :) If you want something right now, yopu'll have to pick something already int he country.

you can import your own (if you are quick) under the 15 yr rule, but it is a road that is fought with peril (many pitfalls) I did it and have come up trumps - but that's not going to be the case for every car. (mine was one of the rare, only driven to church every Sunday types... with the old woman being such a safety focused type, she even fitted a roll cage!!!)

car like this are not rare but i stold very quickly, so if u want 2 import now (as the 15yr old rule is changing) i think u should buy the $1,100 serives fee for watever compoany u r using and get them 2 start looking now

I just paid $30,000 for a 1994 R32 GTR, its pretty immaculate with low klm's, its really just like any other car... You pay more for lower klm's, you pay more the better the condition, you pay more the newer it is i.e 1989 or 1994, and in some cases you pay more for a stock car, than one with mods, you can also pay more if someone is ripping you off :wave:

    • Remember kids - if you can't afford to buy 2 GTRs......
    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
