Peter89... Have you heard back anything yet??.. I got a confirmation Email, stating that some bloke named Larry would take care of my order...

WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU LARRY?

lol.

remember they are 12hrs or so behind us. so communication is slower then normal.

i got my tyres 2 weeks ago. if you don't get a reply within 24hrs of sending the last email (and its a weekday) send them another email.

what information do you have so far?

I Have no info so far.. but I gave them everything I need, and requested all details from them to make a wire transfer payment etc..

If I dont hear anything by tommoz, ill call and email again.. Im guessing they have alot of orders to wade through.

We should Buy a Container full of tyres and sell them at marked up prices here... Profit!

bloody wasted all that time Sending emails with all the details, for them to send a reply saying I should call them to make an order FFS!

strange. i did everything via email.

say that it isn't possible to call of time zone differences.

fedex shipped the tyres right to my door. tracking worked well.

as you can see. its better to order 4 tyres if not more.

Peter, so to be clear it was $228 for shipping to your door via fed ex economy, which takes ip to 5 days, for 4 tyres?

top quote 4 tyres.

bottom quote 2 tyres. i didn't want 4 so i only bought 2. that cost $228. yeh it took 5 days.

    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
    • For DBA, check out their guide table here. https://dba.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Direct_Replacement-Guide-2021.2.pdf   Additionally they have some other guides and info on how to make sure you choose the right pad.
    • Sorry, just assumed that talk of coloured pads meant EBC red/green/yellow/shit stuff. I don't know the DBA pads, but it's a reasonable bet that they will be OK. DBA make good stuff generally. Those 4000 series rotors I linked to are very good. I may well replace the RDA rotors I have with those when required.
