I sent the boys an email to see where we are at with the pedals. Not sure when they will reply as they may still be closed for the Christmas break.

Will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

I sent them another email to see where we are at. Getting a bit impatient waiting for these for so long.

So sorry it is taking so long guys :(

Thats ok.... we forgive you... just hurry up and organise the next group so i can get my order in :D

+ 1 :-P

I just sent another email. There was a shipment that arrived on the 14th and the pedals should have been in them. Still havn't gotten word on whether they were...

So turns out our pedals were not in the shipment that arrived. So now we have no ETA on when they will be getting them. Just f**king great. This is the Hel group buy problem all over again :(

I just really don't understand how this shit happens. Do I need to fly to Japan to kick some one in the nuts for being so incompotent they can't take some damn pedals off of the shelf and put them in a box? Is it really so bloody difficult?

i thought they were coming from america or are they getting shipped straight from the manufacture location in japan? Has the american place been in contact with you at all recently?

im sure they will come soon enough, hope so anyway so the next group buy can start already

The company we are getting them through for the group buy is in the US, however his supplier at Nissan is in Japan. So what was ment to be happening was the pedals were going to go from Japan, to the US and then to us.

The supplier has good communication and usually replies to me within 24 hours (I email him every few days) but his supplier in Japan seems hopeless and takes ages to reply to him.

I sent him an email saying we need to sort this out because it is getting a bit ridicolous. So I will see what he says.

Every few days i'm emailing them. It is getting really annoying with the constant delays. It is Nissan in Japan screwing us around.

He is going to contact a supplier he has in Japan to try and sort it out with Nissan and then get him to send it directly from Japan to us to make it quicker.

All the pedals are in the USA ready for shipment, it is just those damn footrest pedals that are still in Japan.

Whenever I get some good news i'll post it up, so far it has all been "Still waiting on them".

Really sorry for the delays guys, I hate when this happens!

I assume you've told them about all the interest with more kits? Are they gonna order them all at once so the next lot don't have the same problem? Just curious that's all :-) thanks...

Yeah I told them there is a SHITLOAD more people chasing them and I don't want to go through this again. So once we sort out the first batch the next batch will get ordered prior to me collecting money off of every one so there isn't such a long wait. Hopefully by then the problem with it taking so long will be sorted.

I however honestly don't understand what is taking so long. I just don't get it. Either there is something they are not telling me or some one in Japan has f**ked something up.

1. Find pedals on shelf. 2. Put in box. 3. Send to customer. I mean really, is it that f**king hard?

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
