oh not really, i live up on the sunny coast. but every1 i know who is doing there houses up has there own contacts up this way so sorry i cant help u out with that, but no doubt u will find sum 1 that will be wanting it done. bloody rain! it stuffs everything up when it comes to workn. well for us outdoor ppl anyway. i have to get a new gearbox soon bcoz the front bearing has gone in it. which equals whole rebuild or a secondhand box?? which would be the cheaper option do u think??

2nd hand box is by far cheaper....has your car been converted to manual, or was it originally manual?

well i presume it was a manual all along, but i only got it 3 mnths ago, and it was imported about 6mnths ago so.... how would i tell?? i dont have anything on the dash saying drive first or second or anything like that

i was going to go with the secondhand box, i heard it was cheaper. would u have any idea around abouts prices?? for a secondhandy??

nah...no idea for a box...sorry...

ii asked if it was always manual, cos if it was converted maybe they forgot the spigot bush which will destroy the front bearing and seal.....

if you put another box in, it will eventually do the same thing...(i mean if it doesnt have a spigot bush)

why do you think its a front bearing?
