why move back? QLD is the best state in Australia ;)

Not the easiest when you move states as I'm experiencing. I came up by myself 3 months ago and don't know heaps of people, but eventually it will all sort itself out. I've been there before. Just gotta stay focused. If things are bad, just chill out for a while, go down, sit on the beach, watch the beautiful women, and remind yourself why its so good up here.

Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

im just use to having a huge network of friends, etc.

i was just reading the ladder theory, and ive known about this theory for a few years now (proberly about 5 - 6)

and i thaugth i was the only one who knew this .. now it appears its a fact of life, which is makin me feel heaps better.. makes me reassured that every women is just another whore

;)

Mindflux,

Please tell me you get the Descarte reference in my tag. Or is it that I wasted my life getting an education? One thing that helped me was knowing that whatever you're feeling now will eventually fade. It's both a blessing and a curse. On the upside the more emotionally crippling the pain you may or may not be feeling now the more perspective it'll give you in the long run.

Look at the stupid people around you and watch them burst into tears when the photocopier runs out of paper because they don't know what to do and can't deal with it. At least you'll NEVER be that pathetic.

Charly - uhh .. i full dont understand that .. so heh sorry

but this ladder theory is so good, because i can realte to it .. its just so reassuring..

maykes me realise all this time i was right about females, and how they work .. it also is teaching me a few things i didnt know..

bbs .. gotta keep reading

I blame it on reality TV :)

now mindflux: don't go killing anybody now will you?

I should go down to DMD and pick up my sideskirts, nice day for it!

wat time you going? i will be there around 4ish with my mate getting a quote.

Mindflux, you sound like patrick batemen.  Go and read Some Brett Easton Ellis and if you understand it on any level be very worried.  and you really have to stop caring so much.   Also if you're all jaded on relationships this might help clarify how women's minds work.  Sorry if it's a repeat.

and remember if you see a guy who is clearly a dud with a really really hot girlfriend don't envy him.  Pity him.

if you dun mind me asking, which did you come down to QLD in the first place? work? study?

gen - wheres DMD? i might drop in with you guys cuz im bored hehe and i wanna see abotu a connet..

why did i move to QLD? .. well i was orginally living in sydney, on the northern beaches (ritzy) .. and my olds decided to move up to QLD, i have no financial backing at the time .. as i had just been sacked dues to the war (worked for an online travel company) .. and so i decided financially i couldnt afford to live in sydney so i had to go move up with my olds.

since ive been up here, i applied for a job with reviera and that fell through so i decided to attend tafe.. but that kinda hasnt worked out the way i intended :)

Dont get me wrong, QLD is a great place, i do like it .. its very laid back and people arnt doing drive bys on your house at mid day because you took 5 mins longer in the maccas line then you should.

Yeah Glenn,

originally I did want to help people until I made the unfortunate discovery that not only do I not like people, But I did not want to help them. So I quit Psych and took up economics.

Mindflux To clarify:

Descartes walks into a bar, sits down next to a guy. Guy sitting next to him says can I buy you a drink? Descartes says "I think not" and dissapears. (end of joke) Philosophy jokes are kind of like Economics jokes, only funny if you've wasted a lot of time reading the stuff.

Descartes said "I think therefore I am"

I say "I think therefore I am ; single" Basically it is just a descartes quote butchered and also plaguerised from LifeSupport.

look ok I give up. Come out on thursday and I'll stick a "**** me over, tormet me, and tell me why you hate the world" sign on my forehead for all to see.

i assumed the wanker that you are referring to is Don? :D  i will just ask him about if Enrico's (that's your name right?) 400r bar is ready... and ask him to spray it PINK :D  :boobies2:

lol im sure he isnt a wanker, im just pissed he hasnt called and i cant ge through..

My name is Matt btw :) Enrico is my alias! :D lol

No not pink!!!!!!! hahaha

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
