man i just got home from work, the roads near my work are flooding!! you know the hope island road smoothline? they really ****ed that road up as it has no drainage, but this old 4wd subie im driving atm cant even break traction in the rain lol.

Work was so boring i was just eating my stock all night and listening to mp3s heh.

lol - i remember them saying in the Gold Coast news as well "it doesn't rain enough and it doesn't happen enough to warrant a significant upgrade". Bet you the guys cleaning out there houses for the 2nd time in 3 weeks wouldn't be thinking that! Gotta watch these new estates.. most are built on existing swap land. Thats why its so flat :(

nismogirl: i don't even want to know why you wet your bed... :)

Yeah, its funny how the can put a new pole up in 48 hours after i take it out, but they cant put one drain in that section... lame

Its actually only meant to be a temporary section of road. In the next few months when the hope island canals are finished that section will be a bridge coming up to the round about... only 6 years late, but hey thats the state government!

yeah.. another boring friday night.. too much rain.. hmm -- well my car alarm has gone off 4 times tonight.. quite the record. Gotta love buzz boxes and their buzzy exhausts driving past!

hows the new monitor?? me gotta get myself one of dems LCD's soon :)

Those Aopen cube boxes are cool too.. think I might get one of them as well. The total miniPC!

its good. wanted to get the BenQ LCD that was recommended by Chris and got the Samsung 153V instead. I never realised that i had so much room on my table now :) been playing plenty of Warcraft on it.

how's work at GC Umart?

lol.. only had 1 day so far.. hopefully more days next week... chris :):D

yup, desk space is a big advantage of the LCDs, and look so much better.. The main advantage the BenQ units have over some of the other brands is the higher refresh rate at a cheaper price. But might not be noticeable anyhow.

I want to get one of the 17" that can be wall mounted. Not sure how I can go about fitting it on the wall though so the cables don't dangle down. Not sure whether the guy who I share with would appreciate if i cut a big hole in the wall either :(

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
