camoR33
Hi Guys, I have a set of front Project MU type HC pads that have 8mm meat left on them and long story but i need a pad with about 6mm or less meat, this is for a swap, my 8mm for your half worn pads! must be track suitable brake pads! the story summarised: i have a sil80, i did a 300zx brake caliper upgrade with RDA slotted rotors drilled in a 4-stud, problem is i think i bought the incorrect caliper as it wouldnt fit over the new rotor... long story short i "modified" the calipers so they fit, but coz its soo tight i cant use new brake pads. i have a set of stock pads in there, and bought some project MU type HC from a mate to use on my upcoming track day, however the pads having 8mm of meat left means they are too thick and when i bolt them in the wheel cant turn! so i need something half worn with a maximum of 6mm meat on the pad. i have my street pads, so i need something to use on the track! half worn track pads would be ideal as long as good condition, the project MU's are expensive pads but i am willing to straight swap if anyone is keen, also could add $$ for the right pads. PLEASE HELP! even if you have 34-mm meat and want a new set of pads i will swap cheers Chris PM or msg 0421466142 im near hornsby or city weekdays Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/343427-project-mu-type-hc-pads-wanted-to-swap/ Share on other sites
femno
You can get brake pads milled down to a specified thickness. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/343427-project-mu-type-hc-pads-wanted-to-swap/#findComment-5539466 Share on other sites
