find info out about what exactly?

plenty of people have made near on 400rwhp on stock motors. and that's without E85 & meth.

all that info is easily accessible with the search or reading the dyno thread.

honestly taking into account E85 AND meth, your result is poor.

18psi at 5200, thats one laggy turbo...400rwhp although its good it aint huge hp. I know of cars making high 400's on E85 with full boost at 3800rpm (running low 20's psi). Either way keep us all informed it will be interesting to see it at mid to high 20 psi what power it produces.

Yeah, 5200 is no surprise.

The HC1 is an old horse Cummins truck turbo. There were two sizes... I'm assuming its the larger given how bad the response is on E85, which means its capable of around 450-500rwhp going off some US results...

it doesn't appear they were using any special fuels either (85 or meth)

i did some research but found it on dynopacks and dynodynamics

we live in fresno ca which is central california(usa)

there s no one withthin 200 miles from here with a high hp rb motor

most r all heresay

-and a dynopack reads 22+% higher than our dynojet

that s what i said

compare this power to our hondas it s a over price pig...

we have test motors with honda making 100whp per cylinder

-i think it should at least handle 550whp...

400rwHP.... That is roughly every second skyline on this forum. It seems that your turbo leaves you sinking in no mans land.

Two threads for you to read:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pr...html&st=100

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/40...html&st=360

Those threads are about cars making 500+WHP on E85. Specifically look at the PT5557 results on E85 on a stock SR20, 500+WHP.

The PT thread has all the proof you will need. End.

Theres a guy on here username 180or200 thats making 580rwhp on an unopened RB25 on E85. He has been making that for a couple of years so 550rwhp is definately achieveable with the right tune and mods. He's using a Garret 3582 .8 rear with high 20psi boost.

Good luck with it all and keep us informed.

The link to the 400rwkw thread is not really applicable, they are all built motors.

Just Nistune ECU with 800cc injectors. It was noisy and rough, had broken ring lands on 3 pistons and chewed out valves due to float. Should really run forgied pistions and stronger valve springs to do any thing like that. and its 431rwHP instead of 428 lol.

    • Yeah i found that alot of parts can be wrong or "very" hard to get the real right one. I already bought some brakes years ago on me "old" GT calipers and they were wrong too 😄  I told them too. Even send them pictures...but they said "EBC catalogue has them on my car... So i dont know what their answer will be. I call monday them and let them know that they are really not on my car. If they were they would be already on a car...
    • Welcome to Skyline ownership. Yes, it is entirely possible parts websites get things wrong. There's a whole world of inaccuracies out there when it comes to R34 stuff (and probably 33 and 32). Lots of things that are 'just bolt on, entirely interchangable' aren't. Even between S1 and S2 R34's. Yes they have a GTT item supposedly being 296mm. This is incorrect. I would call whoever you got them from and return them and let them know the GTT actually uses 310mm rotors. Depending on where you got them from your experience and success will obviously vary.
    • Hi...a bit a "development" on the brakes. I spoke to the guys where i get brakes from...and they are saying that 296mm EBC are for R34 GT-T. I then went to their site: https://www.ebcbrakes.com/vehicle/uk-row/NISSAN/Skyline (R34)/ and search for my car(R34 GT 1998 - it has GTT brakes) and it show me this USR1229 number and they are rly 296mm rotors... So now iam rly confused... The rotors i have now on the car are 310mm asi shown... So where is the problem? Does the whole EBC got it wrong or my calipers are just...idk know what?
    • Oh What the hell, I used to get a "are you sure you want to reply, this thread is XX months old" message. Maybe a software update remove that. My bad.
    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
