well the thing is, that car was pretty good and well looked after, shouldnt matter what kind of car it is.

Kyle is a awesome bloke too, who is actually my trans builder for the R31.

So no, i dont think the theives did Kyle a "favour".

yeah i hear you and that's a poor thing to wish on someone

probably a good rule of thumb is don't wish on someone what you wouldn't want done to you

and playing someone else's game they way they play only brings you down to their level

not from SA so can't say, but does the car have any notable parts that might be sold?

Unless they recorded unique part numbers its unlikely to yield anything TBH.

As for people hating, this ain't the wasteland listen to Madaz and "Do unto others as you would have done to yourself". Cos i know what u did last...... F*** it.

Little Johnnie and Tommy were playing at school , and Johnnie noticed a Rolex on Timmy's arm. Johnnie said "Hey, how did you get that Rolex" and Timmy replied "My parents were you know, doing 'IT' the other night and i happened to walk in. So my dad gave me his watch to leave then and there". This got little Johnnie thinking, and so he waited outside his parents bedroom night after night hoping to surprise his parents. Finally after waiting, on the fourth night 'IT" happened. So little Johnnie burst into the room shouting "Hey, I wanna watch!" And his father looked over at him and said "Ok, but stand in the corner".

I don't play games, i play life as its much more realistic.

This thread is priceless, sticky it!

ignoring the bs, nobody should be saying 'its a favour' cause tbh cars are a sentimental value, and what is a piece of shit to one man, is the pride and joy of another. shame on you sled, you evil, hateful, anarchistic, non respecting of the law, type dude (who happens to like kittens so he cant be all that bad)

bullshit aside, lets not diss people over their rides and be negative. anyone who has has shit stolen off them feels violated in one form or another.

i could go on a rant right now about how sau members are encouraging a certain set of behavior in word, and then acting contrary to their policies for the simple sake of convenience, but I know for a fact that the majority of the members here aren't a bunch of anarchistic mofos...

think positive folks, dont get caught in this 'he said/she said' bullcrap. we're bigger than this.

-D

I think the point is, this is Skylines Australia. Most of the members here will have little to interest keeping an eye out for a stolen grey VL with no standout features. Most VL drivers drive them like they are stolen anyway, so we are at a dead end.

Alright then, let me put my Moderator hat on and all joking aside.

WHOSE CAR IS THIS!!!

If it's not Cara's, then this thread is outta here cause we don't give a shit about Commodores unless they belong to a forum member.

So tell me how evil I am now Dohmar??

    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
