Coilover Top Rubber Mount

Hey guys,

I bought an incomplete set of coilovers, and only need this small bit of rubber / leather to put between the top of the spring and the top metal part.

I know finding the proper one (for G4 Racing Coilovers to suit R33 GTR - gold ones) will be impossible, so what would be a good substitution?

Do they still make the g4's? Because I thought they were pretty good for spare parts and service so if there still around give them a go

Not sure to be honest. I was in the garage yesterday and noticed my old hks ones have the rubbers in them. I will be taking them apart this weekend and seeing if they fit. Hopefully it's a straight swap over.

Hahahaha. Nah they're stuffed. My father-in-law had an "ingenious" idea to hook up air lines to the valves at the bottoms of the shocks to be able to adjust them easily without taking the wheels off.

Great in theory, but the joiners in the lines leaked, and then was left with no air in the coilovers, so they started making bad knocking noises immediately and by the time I found a replacement set the internals are most likely stuffed. And yes they're about to have no rubber tops, and I'll be taking the springs off them and giving them a shot since they are more forgiving.

In a month or so it's possible I'll be selling them for parts/rebuild. That is once I'm happy with my setup.
