I've got a couple but the gutter cut the light to the bottom of your rim and it looks pov.

I shot an underexposed shot with a flash zoomed in in my other hand. I did still need to remove some minor stuff in shop but the shots were 95% done. I was just trying random shit. I've shot so many car shows I get bored if they're not moving... *YAWN*

Car shows are boring as hell. IF i ever go back to see autosalon or something, i'm only taking pics of the models and that's it. When you can't move them/shoot them how you want, you may as well just take a P&S to a car show.

I like the effect, especially since your bored.

That girl look like a drowned rat or is it just me?

did u pull back the exposure on those 2 shots? the sun looks like its been toned down heaps. other than that, the first shot is really nice man. good colours too.

SB900 in the mail ;)

SB-900 hey! You could of ordered 2 AB's for the price of one of those :)

So, i got denied from being CAMS accredited! Quite devo, but meh, always the rest of the year to improve. As long as i don't see little sh!ts at WTAC again this year with kit lenses and point and shoots, my year shall be filled with joy!

PS - Sidd that is a rad shot of those flowers.

I hope everything in QLD eases up too, poor people :(

Well from a bunch of my other mates that also applied, they also got denied. They "strongly suggest i re-submit again this year" with a better business plan. It was a bit weak, but i can't really write much about what i want to do in 2011 as a tog because i dont know what i can do or where i can go.

They were also extremely slack in getting back to us all about being accredited or not. It said on the website, you'll know by late november, yet i only just heard back today. 3 months hanging on the fence is a long time to wait only to find out you've been rejected.

Ah well, i'll just re-think and re-submit. If i don't get in this year though, i think i'll have a massive whinge haha.

Meh, they already told me.. Lack of a business plan, they told me i shoulda wrote about who i service/plan to service in the future. I don't see how that makes such a big difference that i don't get CAMS but whatev's, Can't do much about it now. I just think if i waited 2 weeks to find out, i wouldn't of bothered caring, but the fact that 3 months later i get rejected. You'd think they could get there shit straight and at least update there website also!

Did my mate call you yet?

that sucks kory, the quality of your photos kills the quality of some togs that i know will get accreditation. i didnt bother to get it again this year cause well, i dont have a dslr anyway, and because having cams did absolutely nothing to help me earn any money. at the end of the day i wasted $4000 of our life savings on a career that was never going to happen. i guess you live and learn tho.

Experimenting with HDR. The sun was really blinding to the point i couldnt see much else so thought it was worth a shot anyways. Will get there eventually. Still a long way to get to the standard of alot of you guys. Unreal photos.

    • our good friends at nismo make a diff for it, I have one (and a spare housing to put the centre in) on the way. https://www.nismo.co.jp/products/web_catalogue/lsd/mechanical_lsd_v37.html AMS also make a helical one, but I prefer mechanical for track use in 2wd (I do run a quaife in the front, but not rear of the R32)
    • What are we supposed to be seeing in the photo of the steering angle sensor? The outer housing doesn't turn, right? All the action is on the inside. The real test here is whether or not your car has had the steering put back together by a butcher. When the steering is centred (and we're not caring about the wheel too much here, we're talking about the front wheels, parallel, facing front) then you should have an absolutely even number of turns from centre to left lock and centre to right lock. If there is any difference at all then perhaps the thing has been put back together wrongly, either the steering wheel put on one spline (or more!) off, and the alignment bodged to straighteb the wheel, or the opposite where something silly was done underneath and the wheel put back on crooked to compensate. Nut there isn't actually much evidence that you have such a problem anyway. It is something you can easily measure and test for to find out though. My money is still on the HICAS CU not driving the PS solenoid with the proper PWM signal required to lighten the load at lower speed. If it were me, I would be putting either a multimeter or oscilloscope onto the solenoid terminals and taking it for a drive, looking for the voltage to change. The PWM signal is 0v, 12V, 0V, 12v with ...obviously...modulated pulse width. You should see that as an average voltage somewhere between 0V and 12V, and it should vary with speed. An handheld oscilloscope would be the better tool for this, because they are definitely good enough but there's no telling if any cheap shit multimeter that people have lying around are good enough. You can also directly interfere with the solenoid. If you wire up a little voltage divider with variable resistor on it, and hook the PS solenoid direct to 12V through that, you can manually adjust the voltage to the solenoid and you should be able to make it go ligheter and heavier. If you cannot, then the problem is either the solenoid itself dead, or your description of the steering being "tight" (which I have just been assuming you mean "heavy") could be that you have a mechanical problem in the steering and there is heaps of resistance to movement.
    • Little update  I have shimmed the solenoid on the rack today following Keep it Reets video on YouTube. However my steering is still tight. I have this showing on Nisscan, my steering angle sensor was the closest to 0 degrees (I could get it to 0 degrees by small little tweaks, but the angle was way off centre? I can't figure this out for the life of me. I get no faults through Nisscan.
    • The BES920 is like the Toyota Camrys of coffee machines. E61 group head is cool, however the time requirements for home use makes it less desirable. The Toyota Camry coffee machine runs twin boilers and also PID temp control, some say it produces coffees as good as an E61 group head machine.
