no not on drugs... at the moment i just play soccer for a living........ and wtf is this on drugs dribble in regards to selling a heat shield????? is there something that is out there about a heat shield for sale thread??? wtf.... are you sure you are not on drugs and are trying to make out that other people are on drugs such that you either do not feel left out or the only culprit????

They are saying you are on drugs because you are up to 4 pages of bumping a piece of shit heat shield desperately trying to get $15 for it when quite clearly no one wants it.

you need something to make yours stand out from the rest of people flogging off crappy stock heat shields.

Maybe you could drill some holes in it to save some weight, then you could promote it as a "lightweight racing item" and a must for any serious racer...who is still using stock turbo. I am sure there would be a wide market for this. I would suggest 2 holes to start with, each hole approx 30cm in diameter, and then go from there.

Or, you could paint a racing stripe on it. That would look hot and make people want it even though they have probably already thrown theirs away and have no use for it.

Let me know how it goes.

well i am considering making it red such that thing will go / move faster....... i think speed holes however may actuall ruin the rididity and hence ruin my heat shields handling...... LOL....... Do you know whether you can order a strut brace for the heat shield, if so i will defenitely consider placing some speed holes to improve performance just to insure regidity and improve the handling....

if you did not want to drill holes in it, maybe you could write "star wars" on it, and maybe draw a picture of the Millenium Falcon as well. Many people like Star Wars, and I am sure some of them drive skylines, so you will have a ready-made market there. Alot of people like the Millenium Falcon too. Except for me, because I do not like Star Wars and so would not be interested in buying a heatshield with star wars written on it. I also do not have a car either, although I have been in one once, after I was bitten by a bush tick and I had to be taken to hospital. They discharged me after 7 hours and a tetanus shot. All the best with the sale.

good on you man for still trying to sell this heatshield lol i just ended up tossing mine away. I'm starting to think maybe I should of modified it in some way and made a small fortune from it :D

    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
