I've got the manuals for the 2003 Infinity G35 coupe. Loaded them onto www.stagea.info forum as many bits similar to our Stageas.

But I do remember a couple being too big to upload and the EC PDF was one of them.

PM your email address and I'll send it to you, if your email can handle nearly 27Mb of file :)

I can get manuals for other year models if you like, but not sure if there will be any/much difference.

Do you care to elaborate what you're up to?

Well for starters speed cut is going. Giving me the absolute shits. I'm also outing in an aftermarket afc. And looking into various other piggybacking options before I buy my link ecu.

But mainly cause I'm about to get into the "real" modifying my car.

I'm also about to pull my dash apart in the next few weeks. Anyword on the tv tuner? And cruise control? I'm about to make a hell of a mess. :-)

And Leon, I'm putting 12's on the rear now. To ensure I have enough traction, for future mods ;-)

If you go standalone you wont have a speed cut, the speed signal is probably transmitted down the CAN line and not a speed signal wire (ours is anyway). Hopefully the standalone works well and you don't loose too many functions like dash, abs etc. At least you don't have to control an auto and attessa...

What sort of power are you looking for? Perhaps a VQ25det is the go. :)

or maybe a vq35dett? i have a pivot speed meter v to try and remove the speed cut?? weather it works or not.

ill be going a link ecu in the future.

Hey Cobey

I think getting it from here http://www.sendspace.com/file/302wnc will be easier and other people might like to download a copy also. This link may not be active for more than a few weeks tho.

About page 103 on the file it starts to get into what you're after, I think. There's a table there listing every pin, wire colour (applicable or not?), what's it used for and what you should see if you measure it with a multimeter or CRO.

The AV (audio visual), AT (auto transmission) and BL (body, lock & security) files are the only others that were too big to be uploaded to www.stagea.info but I can post links to them if anyone wants them.

RE TV tuners, they will be here as soon as my Chinese friends finish partying for their New Year. About middle of this month they tell me but I'd add another week for slow shipping.

RE Cruise control, I received a sample that has all Jap instructions in paper version that won't translate when scanned & copied into online translator. So that's gonna be interesting. However, it isn't the type that will work as factory (buttons on steering wheel) so it's going in my X-trail and I'm back to hunting down my previous number 1 choice.

Look forward to seeing your 12" rears. Seriously? you've gotta be kidden'

Hey Leon, thanks for that.

It looks same as the G35 one, you sure its JDM specific?

Cheers

It looks the same as the G35 because it is :) so I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as the V35 but hopefully it's close.

I wonder if a G35 full wiring harness and aftermarket ecu from the US would work, do they run the same dash setup? ABS may also work the same.

With a link ecu (or Haltech ps2000) you should be fine, you may have to leave the stock ecu in place also. Cable throttle would be a must although the Motec 800 can control the stepper throttle, pity it costs so much. Do you have a good tuner?

    • Old Son, did you re-use the Holden ABS in the new shell or try a different module?
    • Yeah, nah. I had the actuator rod off it today. The arm will not move at all. Neither out, nor in. Yeah, you'd think so, but I've been thinking about that. Even when the actuator rod fell all the way off at the beginning of this saga, it would build more boost and faster in lower gears than it would in higher gears, and you'd think that that was the opposite of what should happen. But I strongly suspect that there is a thing with the gearing getting the revs to rise faster, that there must be some transient effect with the gas flow rate rising quickly, that you don't get with the more steady state case of the higher gears. Keep in mind - the gate is not shut in either of my weirdnesses. So things are not "normal". We normally think about a turbo spooling up (below the wastegate target) with the gate shut. I have all sorts of mental models running now where the gate is a little bit open, and having it stuck open allowing gas out while it should be going through the turbine has all sorts of weird effects (in these mental models). I'm thinking in the higher gears, the ex mani pressure builds to the point where enough gases spill out the wastegate to just prevent the pressure rising much more at all, or just creeping up, all the whole the revs are increasing and getting closer to the point where a gear shift becomes necessary.
    • Is it possibly wastegate actuator itself is sticking, or even the rod to flapper? Otherwise I reckon things are getting a bit rusty/worn   Also odd it won't boost in 3rd to 5th, but will in 1st, I'd expect the other way around with it slightly open as there's more time on your way to redline for it to spin up
    • Does anyone know ow what these two plugs are for and if they should be unplugged? Just put the dash back together and can't remember if these were plugged in before or unplugged! (Blue and white plugs) 🤦🏽‍♂️
    • Did some FASTing ...got the impression that the actual part# was a moot point ; seems all of these hardlines for coolant are discontinued/NLA... like, I take it you're after the hardline that bolts onto to the manifold...that's NLA according to amayama & nengun .... ...just to clear up some confusion, they typically mounted the AAC valve to the intake manifold somewhere near a coolant passage, so the body of the valve heats up & holds it open when engine's up to temp - no coolant flows through the valve, it's a mechanical, thermal connection.
