R32: Fixing Vents..

Hey, i was wondering if someone could help explain how to fix or pull out a cent from the dash of an r32. as i have a porblem with one of them, im thinking the center one.

You need to pull the vent out as a unit, ie do not try and detach the front face.

A screwdriver used as a GENTLE lever under the lower edge should work.

It's not worth trying to fix centre vents. I've tried and failed. I seriously spent about 3 hours with the damn thing! It was good until I went over a bump and it came flying off again!

I bit the bullet and bought a new one from Just Jap. Cost me $125 but I'm happy with the result - having a clean centre vent is a nice thing. (the old ones get really really filthy).

the only ones I can find are the Type-S ones at autobahn etc...and they're always in some gay colour that doesn't match my interior

My center vent sucks. When I turn the fan up to the third speed or more it flicks it to the hard right or hard left.. Annoys the absolute crap out of me.

I've already replaced my left vent with a good nice tight one.

Just break it. Thats what I did. then slap in the new one.
