There are always plenty of people with video/camera's.

Bring whatever you want.

If you want GOOD positioning around the back track etc, then volunteering gives you the perfect chance to get out the back where people normally are not allowed etc whilst events are on

Sorry Martin, I will only be available for the morning and then the first runs after lunch and then I'll have to do a quick trip home to feed the pup, cant get anyone to puppy sit and no one will be home to watch him, and dont want to miss out on the shenanigans Saturday night >_<

C'mon guys and girls... Anyone bringing a girlfriend they can volunteer for a few hours in the arvo or a mate who would love to be up close with the action in the morning?? It really is great fun and a fantastic way to get to know others in the club and get involved, not to mention a free lunch, and some of the awesome photos that you can get from being a flaggy out the back :)

I've volunteered the last few years at most of the Deca's (unless I have been sick) - heck I missed some of my nephews 3rd birthday last year because I was at a DECA day helping out!

... ok off my high horse now, just remember, without volunteers the day will not go ahead. :thanks:

I might be able to help in the volunteering. What can I do...............

Flaggie would be a great enry role.

You get to sit out in the sun watch cars race and laugh at them when they hit cones...

Plus get a free lunch!

No Mark,

you will be in the tolet maning the glory hole in between runs.

sorry mate its your turn

You will have to give me some tips though... I hear your quite famous at the truck stops between Melbourne and woodonga...

Brad and Josh have decided not to come so they won't be able to assist. However I've dragged another mate Jett down and he will be able to assist somewhere in the morning. He's a 18yo hoon so he'll like it up close to the action.

Cheers wayneO

Come on guys - we need more volunteers for the day to go ahead!!!

Surely there are more of you who can help out on the day.

For the 6 years these events have been running, Ive stood in both extremes (hot & cold) time after time after time after time etc etc - I'D LOVE TO HAVE A DAY OFF!!! :D

The morning is when we need you - still plenty of time in the arvo to jump in some cars.

Wayne will do.

Mat thanks for the offer the more the merrier.

Folks we still really need some more helpers in the morning.

great change to see things up close and personal.

and remember if no-one volunteers the event will NOT run.

Even if people can only help for the morning that great.

Martin

    • Hey guys I have a 2001 Nissan stagea vq25det, I don't have any engine lights and not really any issues running but I was curious to see if I could use my obd II scanner to find anything that was hidden and I plugged my scanner in and it just said "Low voltage cannot scan" does anyone know how to fix this or what this could be?
    • Sadly we have something in common, our Skyline's like blowing up electrically 😢
    • So, no videos, but, the FAB9 Elite manifold and 68mm Bosch throttle bodies are in stock, but, not the rear part of the air box The FAB9 rear airbox thingie is made with a 3" intake pipe, to suit the 3" intake pipe size of a 68mm throttle body  When they get some more in stock is currently unknown as I'm waiting for FAB9 to reply with a ETA on resupply, my assumption is they outsource their plastic printing stuff to "china", and with the current "tariff war" going on in 'Merica it could be on hold for an undisclosed time Should I pull the pin on the Intake and throttle body, and wait for the airbox?????, that's what I'm thinking... 1. Would the standard 2.75" OEM intake on the air box really be that much of a restriction compared to the 3" naturally aspirated?????? 2. If I don't get the 3" FAB9 airbox fitted at the same time as the intake and throttle body will it need a retune, when/if it eventually turns up?????? As I'm impulsive, to a fault, decisions will be made within....."what's the time now"???....let's say 12 hours......LOL
    • yeah its just so expensive nowadays and its easy to lose motivation very quickly when you start adding up the costs. I acquired the car from a collector in Melbourne and was lucky to get the opportunity to buy something already completed.  I looked at a proper resto and your paying over 300-400K for a proper one (nut and bolt) so this one to me seemed like a much better option! Car is in private storage and for serious buyers, welcome to come see it/drive it in person (photos don't do it justice).
