Wow Adam congratulations! That's incredible! She must have been stoked :D

I'm tooooootally down for this one! Car is in having a facial at the moment so am keen for a meet. Plus love Jason Statham.

Thank you very much, she was indeed - I took her to Vanuatu for a week, I paid for everything, took like 3 months of saving. have lots of pics :)

Might be coming to this one. Will decide closer to date. Just concern about the radio frequency at the drive in... Would the stereo in imports be wide enough to receive the signals?

I believe the range is from 90.x fm to 92.x fm

^^^^ NOPE!!! the drive ins range is in the 90s....i have my stock jap radio...didnt work...had to hire a radio from the place for $2 bucks..i think...or something small...

If you got jap radio in ur car...then ull have to do that or sit in someones car or just park ur car between two cars who has aftermarket unit and get them to have their volume up and windows down...i had to do that for the first time i went for this drive in movie night....

Serious dude? I have never paid for a radio there, I just go up to the projector guy and ask for one, give him my license and at the end of the movie swap the radio back for my license, they do that free of charge.... maybe he wanted a can of coke from the vending machine :nyaanyaa:

Hey guys,

just spoke to my Village contact - there is somewhat bad news.

Coburg drive-ins are not showing the mechanic, infact village apparently are only showing it a select few because apparently the movie is sh*t!

sooo... we have a few options,

we can go to doncaster and pick something from there, or these are the movies available on 11th of March at the drive ins:

hall pass

the adjustment bureau

unknown

I am number 4

Sorry about this

Adam

Still keen for drive ins... my order of preference:

1. Hall Pass

2. Unknown

3. The Adjustment Bureau

4. I am Number 4

Jamie... you are lighter than me >_>

I won't be on the bonnet this time.

Friggen stereo not working in car...might bring a pocket radio and headphones?

lol Charlie, for some reason I'd expect you to turn up to a drive in on a motorbike...

If it had speakers I probably would :P

If you cant get a radio just join another car, there should be spare seats, I think I will have one.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
