Is that another saying for "I have to wash my hair that day?"

^ ^ ^ headache coming on?

Bullshit, hop in with someone coming down from Syd, would be good to see you again :)

No no, I would have already washed my hair. Headaches are for girls and I plans on Saturday and I have to work on sunday. I don't need to be around cars 24/7 lol I need a life. One day off would be nice.

"Your paint couldn't be any worse than mine ;)

i will match you with my peeling clear coat, and raise you a dent in a my front fender.""

I will see these and raise you both with a crack right across the front windscreen and a torn front cool air pipe thingy.

swapped shifts so going to be there 0900 with bells on!

I'm in. Great route.

Any plans for a quick stop and group photo at Stanwell Tops?

Most Saturdays there's nowhere near enough room to do so, unfortunately :(

Unrelated: guys coming from down south; meet at top of Mt Ousley @ 8am? in the truck stop thing on the left.

After Kangaroo Valley, the turnoff to Berry is about 1Km on left called Kangaroo Valley Rd. (unless you're choosing the route via Cambewarra Mtn > Bombaderry Matt)

* One needs to be careful about the line one takes as there is a drop off on the left hand side shoulder

* Don't follow too closely behind the car in front due to loose stones on this tarmac that can crack your windscreen, let alone stone chips

* If weeds are high, bikes/cars can be obscured on tight corners

UHF radios can be useful. The Channel# can be relayed to you at the briefing by Matt.

LOL

Nice venues at

a) the Francis Greenway bridge Kangaroo Valley for the service,

b) Ranelagh House Robertson for reception,

just looking at the map re meeting place, the nearest cross st off waratah seems to be the Bath rd roundabout.

i figure as long as i hit that i should spot a few skylines..

can u confirm or is the google map starting marker a little off?

It's pretty close, just below that marker, there's the two trucks parked longways along the parking spots? That's where we meet up.

EDIT:: HOLY SHIT FUNARAMA

Last cruise I went on I didn't really have a clue where I was going, but caught a group of 2 or 3 other Skylines along Princes Highway and figured I'd just follow - it worked geek.gif

Ahh yeah of course.

Related to your unrelated: I'll join somewhere on Lawrence Hargrave as I want to do Bulli pass but will possibly see you guys at the top of Ousley.

8am's a bit early considering the meetup at the start is at 9am isn't it?

Owen is planning to meet there at 8AM, and then head up to the original start point to do the whole cruise.

Get to that roundabout and you'll spot us parked on the side of the road.

Planning to take the Kangaroo Vally Road route, it's a wonderful road, but people will need to remember to not get too close on ANY of these roads. While they're great roads, if you don't respect them, they will take every oppurtunity to kill you.

GUYS PLEASE BRING UHF RADIOS

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
