Apparantly it crossed the coast up near Bundy.......going to be LOTS of rain. destructive winds warning is still out , hope they don't eventuate ( been there ...donethat..Darwin...Max not Tracy)

its not fun driving out there, hit a puddle and almost aquaplaned into a traffic island, got the rear out in 3rd goin up a hill :S couldnt really move fast from the lights going up a hill due to no traction :S and the winds are pretty damn crazy!

My gf is a programmer and SHE got sent home, she works on the gold coast too.....(had to drive up to springwood, where we live)

Yeah Ska, your boss is a loser and sux big time.

I closed the business for the afternoon and sent all the staff home.

It was too dangerous for the staff to stay and the electricity was cutting out so whats the point of staying open. Plus people have family and homes away from the business that they have to look after when these events happen.

Oh and hang on I work in the I.T industry too.
