Ok because that was the bit i didnt want :P

In Julius's car they make a weird clunking noise... Not sold on that, sounds like somethings wrong!

The ones in the photos are fitted to my own car. Absolutely no clunking whatsoever.

His car had a clunk when I drove it, we thought it was the CV as he'd split the boot.

Definitely not the links though.

Cheers, Dale

Really? He told me it was the links, so i was going to get everything but.

Perhaps he has an issue with his, or they need tightening. Mine are completely silent. They've been on since 21/1/11. I'm pretty picky about rattles & squeaks.

Perhaps he's using the Spherical ball joint type: these do rattle a little, and are not recommended for Street driven cars. I was sure he was using the same type as mine.

I would never recommend anything that I wouldn't fit to my own car.

Cheers, Dale.

Cheers Dale. I'm in for the full package. Thanks again for a tremendous effort. As I said previously, I'd be happy to receive all stuff for whoever's in Adelaide and drop it off to people's houses or getém picked up from mine if that saves anyone any money. Let's see what's gonna be interest form SA folks like and if it actually can save any cash. Cheers again, well done!

No worries Igor, looks like it's going to be a big one, hopefully Whiteline see the interest this has created, and decide to make even more parts for us!

Thanks for the kind offer, we'll see what freight is going to cost to S.A. and what people want to do, we'll go from there.

Cheer, Dale.

Hello Guys,

The part that was making the clunk sound was not the links or the bars them self, It was the brackets on the inside of the Bushes to stop lateral excess movement.

Ben took them off yesterday to see if it made a difference, but the clunk still persists so it's not the brackets, but I will investigate further.

It was not present for the first week I had them, then just appeared, we suspected it was the CV but that is now fixed.

It's not huge just noticeable.

Jules

Cool. If that's the case put me down for the whole package. Having just got home from Sydney, I'm keen on the whole sway bar setup and a set of coilovers! So floaty at cruising speed...

Hey daleo and mr whitline

is there a discount on the links if you buy the whole set front , rears and links

keen for the whole lot regardless

and your mounts , keen for the whole lot , let me know the price and alsoe between you and whitline would it be easier for me to get you to get it and ship to nz

or can they hook me up with BnT in New Zealand for pick up but still get the group buy discount

daleo can i post up a link to the NZ skylines web site see if any one here is keen ?

Ok gentlemen, I've got prices; I think you're going to like this...

PLEASE CHECK THE REVIEWED PRICING:

Front 32mm Blade adjustable; RRP; $320. Group Buy price; $235

Rear 20mm Blade adjustable; RRP $285. Group Buy price; $210

So the front bar has to go from $210 to $235, and the rear bar has to go to $210.

All other prices remain the same.

Rear Heavy Duty Ball Link Adjustable; RRP $175. Group Buy price; $115

Heavy duty Stainless Upper Link Mounts; $60

I think you'll agree, these are frankly Incredible prices, and once again, big thanks to Wayne for his industry contacts.

I'll be doing the formal group buy later tonight, but obviously if you want in, send me a PM or reply in the thread.

Cheers, Dale

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
    • Bloody apprentices! 🙄
    • Not sure yet.  Was considering speedtek because it was rated to 800hp, but when I did some research about him I don't think I will go for that🤣 So maybe giken gear set, but I'm afraid it won't be strong enough🙄
