your seats wont get as scuffed up from people climbing all over them ;)

and you get the sxc 4 door tail lights pinch.gif

The sxcness of the tail lights is a matter of opinion :P

And who needs friends when you drive a performance car?

Also, in RE: what do I think about 4door skylines?

Doesn't look quite right.

4 doors are the best, and remember, 4 doors are best for drifting too, add extra weight to the centre of the car, i think it was about 20kg heavier because of the extra parts.

thats why blitz and that one other tuner use 4doors as their drift cars :) also cause they wanted something unique too i guess.

my mate has a r34 4 door in red with a forged rb26 in it. very.......unique, i must say

Love me 4 doors, both the missus and I have 1. I have a 93 32 and the wife has a 95 Deep Marine Blue 33, looks awesome in certain angles off light.. The 33's are a bit roomer, but i perfer the seats in the 32's. Perfect car for a small family like ours.

I went and put me a deposit down on a 4 door today, I'm really excited, I thought ahead, and thought. "Hey, I might end up knocking my girlfriend up one day, sowhy not have performance and 4 doors?"

It's a series 2 R33 97 model with 70,400 on the odo, lifes sweet.

It's bog stock, just how I wanted it, as it's my first car I don't want too much power to start off with.

I think the R34 sedan without a wing looks kinda weird & too stretched, however with a wing, I think it works okay. Here's mine:

r32 sedans rock

rarer awd ones more so

Roughfly same as a coupe.

I payed $6500 for mine stock apart from strut bar and springs.

Plus the insurance is a bit cheeper on the 4 doors and from what ive seen cops dont target you as much. Esperly when they dont know what your driving.

Got every question asked by the DMV about the car cause the guys didn't know that thier were 32 4 doors.

As one of you said before makes a good family car, can fit the pram in the boot child seat in the back (and get her in and out with ease) while still having a tone of performace.

I'll say a 4 door is a nice different r32, but it isn't what I would say is practical, at least with recaros in it. The rear legroom is almost non existant then. Apart from that it is a nice car to drive, and modded up they do seem to turn heads.

    • Hi guys, just after some guidance with an R34 sunroof that has stopped working correctly. It still opens and closes perfectly fine, but it no longer tilts/vents up or down. As a result, the rear of the glass now sags a bit as it drops down slightly in order to retract into the roof, but now it can't pop upwards into a flush position. I’ve probed the pins on the back of the switch connector with a multimeter and it seems like both switches (for open/close and tilt/vent) still work correctly. Any ideas on what it could be, or where I should even start in terms of diagnosing? I'm sure someone's had this issue before but I haven't been able to find anything online relating to this specific issue, most of the issues are with the seals leaking or the motor failing entirely. Thanks in advance!
    • Do you have some data like fuel pressure? It's really hard to say if you're still fighting a fuel system issue at this point. Could be something weird like the FPCM dipping out.
    • Yeah in that case, pulling the dent out. Event a very slight dent can create a lot of work filler-wise and there is a strong chance the panel won't be the factory shape when you are done (as the dent will result in a new high point created somewhere, then everything is brought up to that new high point... but the panel shouldn't be that high if that makes sense).  So you've filled and primed the panel and it is flat, why would you go back and remove the primer and add more filler?
    • Something else I have been faffing with while the car was off the road is making the AC work. Assuming the car isn't at a thermal limit the idea of having AC while waiting in line to go on track sounds delightful. I have actually been lugging around the weight of the entire system since 2018 when the RB25NEO went in without it working at all.  The main reason was in the first few events before I got around to re-gassing it the rubber hose that runs under the manifold had the factory heat wrap/sleeve fail resulting in this: ~2 years ago I purchased a complete used R32 AC line set but when I finally went to install it the line i needed was different where the expansion section is I found a local place that was able to replace the rubber section and re-crimp. They also added some modern heat sleeve to the hose Tight fit but fingers crossed this is the last physical piece of the puzzle needed
    • the top black section is bonded to the silver section with some form of rubber. I assume to isolated NVH from the box
