Hey man hes my black horse

like rocky balbowa

all he needs is a girlfriend called adrian (wtf, adrian is a MANS name)

and yeah, pwning begins

i want to know what chef can do in the cube around mallala

-D

Wait till I finally get the supercharger on ;)

Ah kristian. While I'm sure lap times will be close. You do have to admit lukes done 5-10 flat out track days. While your gtr is lucky enough to get driven to the track. :-p would love to see the n1 pushed hard for once. Or is it only for rundle st runs? Lol.

The car has to go under 1:20 regardless. If not lukes getting a swift kick in the nuts

lol harsh but fair - the problem with tracking the N1 is that the red mist will descend and I'll end up breaking something that can never be replaced ;)

Given that should know the limits of his car far better than I do, there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to kick my arse....theoretically....

Ive seen HQs do it in the low 20s, (i think HQs were made around Chefs era) my money is on LUKE doing it in the 19.8s.

If anyone is keen to take my money PM me.

LOL

P.S: Please gamble responsibly.

Surprised everyone skimmed over a post a couple of pages back.................it had the key to the winner.

Unless you're prepared to stand on the gas on turn 4 (kink - back straight), you aint gonna get your best time.

So if one guy does and the other one doesn't............there lies your answer.

I like your optimism ;)

For reference, Luke did a 1:21.64 before he fitted the new brakes, so I'm guessing we'll both go sub 1:20...well I will at least, because I'm the only one game enough to stand it on it's nose at the end of the back straight lol

Here it is

new challenge.

both of you have to beat my 1:18 flat time i posted on my drift car or you're both f**king soft, AND you owe me a night out on the piss :P

back straight is a killer for the GTR... having followed it several times (while distroying the GTR reputation mind you) i noticed its un stable as hell. hopefully the addition of a rear wing will give it some extra stability.

bah if you softcocks cant beat adam allans improved production lap record in ya gtr's you should leave them on the trailer lol

LAP RECORDS - MallalaImproved Production, Adam Allan (Datsun). 01:16.2. 22/08/1998 and it still stands atm i think

 More competition! I love it hahahaha!!!

Hopefully the wing plus some proper coils (Thanks to Lukey) will remove that wobbliness from the equation.

Done....now what happens if I drive Luke's car too and beat both times???

    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
