Hey all!

My name is Daniel and I've been lurking around the SAU forums since mid January.

I've always loved Skylines. Mainly because they're a Japanese icon and having got my 34, I can now officially say that I have owned one of these incredible vehicles during my lifetime.

Being only 18, reading all the threads about purchasing a good Skyline have been really helpful to me.

Now that I have finally found the right car, I look forwards to seeing other SAU members around meetings and on the roads of Perth.

Just from reading some of the threads I can see that this is a really helpful and friendly community. Can't wait to meet you all!

Here are some pictures of my fresh R34 GTT that I picked up this morning. As you can see, the cat enjoys it as much as I do. thumbsup.gif

(Sorry if they're a bit big. I'll just post the direct links instead)

Cheers guys!

How many k's have you travelled in your first day of ownership?

I just drove a couple of k's around the block since it's currently uninsured so I'm playing it safe and not taking any risks.

To be honest I actually spent most of the day polishing the entire car. Feeling proud of it lol.

And just a quick question. Mine seems to be missing something here between the two seats.

What is it supposed to be? Hope it's nothing too important. My best guess is a tray of some sort?

Quick question tho, being 18 how can you legally drive this?

Cause the laws here in WA are much more lenient happy.gif

As far as I know there are no restrictions on the type of car a L or P plater can drive.

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
