Just wondering what ever happened to freedom of speech?...

Wilko, imho between your comments on here and your FB, you are acting like a bit of a tool.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech.

Everything you say on a public medium is open to scrutiny.

If you defame somebody on the forums, they can sue you.

If you express an opinion that the police take as deragatory/illegal, they can pursue you.

If they don't like what you say (and how you say it) on SAU, a moderator/admin can ban you.

I got a call on behalf of SAPOL asking me to remove references to what happened the other day, so I did it.

Quit pushing the envelope.

Just wondering what ever happened to freedom of speech?...

Also dyno night is at horsepowerinabox 8pm-whenever. Commodore club.

Who would be interested in a sua:sa dyno night?.

I just want a final power figure now that the misfire is fixed lol

Just wondering what ever happened to freedom of speech?...

This is going to shock you...

... Doesn't technically exist in Australia. Implied, but not expressed per se.

Also by the way it's not specifically commodore club. Its a shootout between two clubs called "Madhouse Performance" and "Driven Never Hidden". Although there will be a few commodores there to say the least.

I'll be there in support of a friend. Should be a good night

I didn't like it that you called me a tool, (and how you said it)

Just saying.

I have been following your smack talk on here and FB, and I gotta say I don't like it one bit (go back and read what you have written and see if it is fair to me or any of the other guys who help run this place).

Tool was the friendliest word I could think of, and the nicest way of saying what I did. At least I am saying it to your face on the open forums, rather than whining where you think I don't read it. If you don't like the SAU forums or the club (and the people who give up plenty of their free time run them), then go find another forum/club. Easy.

That goes for a few other little bitches who do nothing but whine and knock the club behind our backs, yet do NOTHING to ever contribute in a positive way to the running of the club or its events.

Just saying.

For what it's worth, this is 'The Wasteland', and I am expressing a personal opinion. I am not expressing the collective view of the SAU forum nor club, merely replying to comments directed at me, the moderator and Exec group.

+1 that shit

if people knew how much running around we do to organise BBQ's, track days, dyno days, simulator event nights, go-karts, paintballing and other kool shit to come this shit just doesn't happen

little bit of respect (this is clearly not aimed at the people who do respect the exec team)

    • Ok guys thank you very much. GCG highflow it is then 🙂
    • forgot to mention that when it does this it does not kill the engine, but I have not kept the pedal down long enough to let it, as I see no reason to beat up on it as its got to be something simple, small and dumb causing this.  And as soon as I let off pedal, the engine returns to its normal super smooth operation and rpms re-stabilize quickly, once below 4k.
    • neither stumble or cut really seem to be an appropriate term....hard to explain its like a rev limiter but at 4k, but it violently shakes engine and entire vehicle as the rpms will not rise over 4k, even with slow acceleration. as soon as it hits 4k, it sounds like entire spark is lost entirely. plugs were 1.1 which I used as such, but later put in new plugs gapped down to .8 changed back after issue arose when I replaced the coils, still does it with either plug gap...damn and it was all running so good.
    • Oh how times have changed! I actually lean it out relative to my water/methanol injector duty cycle. The methanol adds a lot of fueling and you can then lean it out even more due to reduced knock.
    • Yeah my thoughts are the same, a well thought out WMI setup, would be slightly ahead of just straight E85 and you're also chemically intercooling the charged air, dropping it even further. This is why you need to add so much more fuel as soon as you spray. I remember someone taking me through their set up before (Dennis, has a R33, lives around Cabramatta - no idea if he's still around on this forum). He would target AFR 10:1 on 98, then as WMI ramped on, AFR would lean back up to 11:1. Amazingly, he did this all through his PowerFC, a relay to cut power to his EBC solenoid if there was not enough line pressure on his WMI kit. And of course, if there wasn't any boost made above gate pressure, you wouldn't be accessing the load cells with heaps of timing for WMI. One downside to that rudimentary setup, once the WMI came on, the EBC would unleash the dragon, and of course all the timing. Tyres would fry lol.
