phew (sigh of relief) - negotiating a sale on the house atm

means I can move on with life, fund a rental for 4yrs while I go through Uni.

feeling down that Ive got to start from scratch, but looking forward to my future opportunities; the hard work I sow will bring rewards...

pressure is on tho as I cant 'afford' to fail a subject, but its a healthy challange to take on

I did something similar.

I quit my job on the spot after a fight with my supervisor. Sold both my cars, and lived off my savings which was my house deposit to go and study full time.

I was that motivated to do well and stick it to my bosses and also because I was running out of money and didn't live at home.

Ended up securing a job on oil rigs before finishing my studies by being hand picked from my class.

Now earning at least double what my old boss does and I was quite happy to let him know when I went in to visit the guys I worked with.

If you're motivated, you'll be fine!

After just getting mine back after 7.5 months apart, every single moment I spend in the car I have a huge smile on my face. It's awesome.

I'm really looking forward to getting the parts I've bought over the last few months into it (alloy radiator, oil cooler, nismo short-shift, nismo dash, nismo injectors, etc).

Unfortunately, I also need to re-build my custom amplifier shelf which was destroyed in the crash, put all my amplifiers, carpc, sound processor back in and the big one -- re-sound deaden the boot. Can't believe of all things, I lost all my sound deadening because because they replaced nearly the entire rear of the car.

After having completed the boot lid today in Dynamat, I gotta say I'm not looking forward to the rest. Too much like hard work, especially when my back is still in pain.

Okay after the previous conversations in here, this is unexpected..

SYDNEY (AP) — Australia’s ruling party voted Saturday to endorse same-sex marriage, a reversal of its long-standing position that has little practical effect on the chance of gay marriage being legalized in the country.

sad day for Australia

in your humble opinion.

I happen to be happy about this.

Seriously. If you (christians/muslims/whatever religion) wanna make marriage sacred, ban divorce. So sick of hearing the religious saying that gay marriage cheapens hetero marriage. Hate to break it to ya, but bogans have been cheapening the sacrament for the last 50 years dawg, so don't get angry when "homos and lezos" wanna get jiggy with it. If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad. And any son of a bitch who is so pre-occupied with the doings of other people (preference regardless) needs to get a life.

Live your own life, with the freedom that this society grants you. Don't get so self righteous that you're gonna tell any other person how to live their life, especially when it doesn't affect you. Respect each other, and each others freedom to chose their own destiny. You would expect such honor yourself..

I love vagina, but I'll represent all of my queer mates even if it ain't popular...

+1 labor. Seems like they got it right for a change. IMHO.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
