Specs On A H1E Holset Turbo

Hey people, does anyone know about the H1e holset turbo?

I have only heard a little about them, from what i see they look like a good size compressor and turbine.

the turbine looks similar to a .82? garrett so i am wondering if it will be a good match for a rb30.

possibly flows 70lb per min.

anybody have any experience with these?

How do I calculate/measure the A/R on the rear and front housings? are they the same as mitsi's and trust types rated in cm2?

it came from a truck mechanic, and i tried a u.s forum, its like they speak a different language.

shitty numbers from 91 ron fuel and little fwd/awd eclipes or v10 trucks

Hey dave, no idea of what type of truck it came off. i work in a scrap yard so when the guy dumped his trailer load of leftovers and crap i saw the turbo sticking out and grabbed it.

the rear housing looks more like 1.00 a/r so i would have to say maybe it came of a 6 ltr truck?

Better off trying to pin-point the engine rather then the truck as alot of trucks have options of engines.

Being Holset it probably came off a Cummins engine

h1e is similar to a hx35 the hx35 is the newer version of a h1e

stamped onto the inside of the exhasut housing inlet is the cm2 size of the housing, a 16cm2 = 1.09 a/r etc
