Nice! About time I had a fellow Stagea driver in this section. Welcome to the forums, and welcome to Stagea ownership. :D

Thanks :)

alan_key - Do you live on the beaches? And have you been looking at The-Lowdown lately ;) Turned out good! Maybe use another flash on camera right for some more fill and to kill the shadows?

Yeh i live on the beaches. and haven't heard of that site till now, seems like they've been using that spot too ha. Nice rig shots, wish i had a decent rig

During my lunch break yesterday, I snuck down to the creek to find out what was making all the noise.

Oh yeah... found out that some of my V8 shots from clipsal will be used in the Bisley Workwear catalogue coming out soon too :)

I live on the Beaches too Alan. If you see a white evo 8 MR driving around give me a toot! :)

Will do!

MaTBoy nice shots, just wondering do you use a monopod or tripod when you're panning? last time I just did it handheld with IS and was getting pretty inconsistent results, either i just need practice or im doing it wrong ha

I never use a monopod unless i'm holding a 400 2.8 or 500.

Turn the IS off and practice your technique more. Panning is all about technique. Unless you were shooting stupid shutter speeds below 1/15th. I'd recommend starting at 1/100th, get consistent results, then drop down to 1/80th etc...

I usually pan at around 1/40th-1/60th depending on if i'm getting paid or not lol.

Hey Fellas, had a good play with the camera last night. Some serious effort and some just goofing around.

Hey Matt, Kory & Nick these are taken at the netball courts just behind my house. It backs onto the bush which makes it a great locale for the dark bush sihouettes. We should set up a meet there and see what you fellas think of the location.

(I call that second to last photo - "my rocket ship")

oh yeah, was going to add that I bought a ball cap from bunnings that has 3 l.e.d.'s in the brim. one directly straight ahead and two pointed down from the brim at about 30 degrees. It worked a treat for this kind of work. Was funny cause I kept feeling like the Blair Witch project with the light pointing any direction I looked.

Was well worth the $20. For you noctural photography buffs would highly recommend.

patience, my young padawan apprentice. In time the power of the dark side will reveal itself to you.

Location looks quite good. worth a future investigation. Good to see you're out there playing around :)

here's a couple from twilight on friday night.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
