i use caltex 98 all the time and pay on average 1.45c/l. will have to beat that to swap. I checked bp and it was 1.64c/l, kept on driving

it doesnt bother to much about price i dont pay for my daily fuel due to i get a fuel card for work but the weekender gets the BP mainly because it was tuned on it and im paro about the difference the other companies have. and i have like 3 BPs surrounding me

is there anything to compare all the other 98 octane fuels. i would like to see how much each manufacturers fuel differs from the other

Complaining about fuel economy, yet drives daily... He definitely could've done the tune and had money left over from how rich it was (is) running...

I can say that V-Power seems more responsive on my car and less pinging!!! Either that or i got a bad batch of Fuel when i filled up at BP..

Just tried V-power for the 1st time, can't tell any difference compared to BP or caltex on my stockish car. Which is a good thing I guess.

I to just fil'd up with shell as aposed to my usual bp ultimate and nor can i either feel to much differences btween the 2..

I have honestly found no difference between BP, Caltex or Shell 98 octane fuels as yet. The car happily runs at full power with them all, so I just use whichever is convenient

Hehe, actually a few of my mates have said the same thing. I've ignored my fuel gauge for years now, mainly because it disappears too fast. Nah honestly, providing there's no knock and the engine responds as expected then the criteria is pretty well met

I say run 2 tanks and see how it goes then switch to BP see the difference.

$1.55 p/l for V power at shell on Great northern hwy(midland) yesterday

Uses about half as much as my GTR does. I'm lucky to get 330km on a full tank of BPU. Must try SVP to compare

Shell glengarry or duncraig what ever u wanna call it has now got it available and on 8 pumps, seems to be 15c a litre more then 91 where as caltex is normally iirc only 14c more, but with it's proximity to my house and a liquor land seems a good option for a carton of corona and 4c of me petrol all at once.

just like all the other mobs they buy base 91 from BP then add their own additives to make 95 and 98.
