Nick - The photo was taken from a tilt-shift lens (45mm canon tilt shift). Purpose of the photo - none really hahah. Well just testing out the tiltshift lens as I have never used it before.

Good use of natural light. Lighting is nice and even.

You missed focus on the eyes on the first pic (no biggie but).

The eyes are pretty blurry in the first photo... I'd say the lens so far has given me about 80% keepers.

Honestly I would place the blame on my skill/precision rather than the lens though

nah didnt borrow his.. my 2nd shooter accidentally left it in my car after a shoot. So decided to take as many pics with it as possible before I gave it back to him.

Found my old 2gb memory cards.. Forgot I still had pics on there.

LOL, you're a ruh-tard, Matt! I'm pretty sure I showed you that photo straight after I took it, too. Was just after I'd bought the G12.

I'm really happy with that purchase, BTW - it's proving to be an awesome little camera! I love having a smaller camera with most of the functions of a DSLR, so I can still play with/learn how settings work without having to carry the 60D and lenses around constantly.

I lost my bike messenger job so dont head into the city at all any more. It's over an hour away (3 if i ride, lol)

but... applied for a commercial cleaning position with a company that specializes in working at heights.

if all goes well i'll have access to some crazy views in future and if things go to plan i'll be able to look into specializing in photography at heights.
