I would love a Tig, but tehre is no real need....I only get thte welder out once or twice a year

I think I paid $250 for my one (gasless) it was pretty crap...I can weld better with my stick welder than I could with the mig...mind you I only used the mig once before it was pinched

Was hoping the turbo would arrive today...hopefully it will be monday now.

Still need to sort out a manifold and oil lines.

Also need to learn to weld so I can make a dump pipe lol

what about just tacking it together and getting someone else to weld it up? worst case they can grind off your tacks after retacking it themselves - doesnt help the DIY aspect but it will be nicer finished product from your last pic

wait, doesn't the soarer share parts with the supra? shurley you can get the pedals from a supra and put it in your soarer.

It does, so most of the Supra stuff fits or goes close.

The main issue is the JZA80 never had the R154 5 speed, only the X chassis and 70 series Supras had the 154, which are slightly different to the the Soarer spec box (Soarers have a remote shifter)

But yeah, the pedals are a 99% bolt in
