Hey guys,

Just been roaming and stumbled upon these things call Air intake supercharger boosters. Does anyone know if they actually work or do anything? any feedback would be appreciated.

This link explains what they are meant to do. http://www.performancechiptuning.com/Air+Intake+Supercharger+Booster/2/

Another gizmo I found was a Pivot Mega Raizin battery stabalizer chip. Any word on these and how they perform?

Here is a link to one of these http://www.nengun.com/pivot/mega-raizin

Cheers,

Dallas

oh dear. You are going to get flamed to the shithouse for posting this lol.

But just to clarify, I bought 4. Two for the intake, one before the the electric supercharger, and one after the turbo.

I also installed one before the cat converter, and after the cat converter.

helped get the air in and out efficiently.

I'm now thinking of buying a 5th one and installing it just before my ATMO BOV.

essentially, no. the amount of airflow these things can contribute is F-A, meaning they do.... F-A.

And because they are bullshit and also made from such substance they have been well known to fail and break apart. And seeing as they are upstream of the intake, guess where the bits end up? and guess what they do? they should be renamed a 'rebuild catalyst'.

N think about it, if something like this could actually make a difference the big manufacturers would be doing it.

    • You'd want to cap off the re-entry back into the dump too. Just something flat that can be held on by the Vband.

    • Looking at the photos, you could easily just drop this pipe and dump into atmosphere  Just 1 or 2 quick hits for data acquisition - if have a heat shield material and/or sheet metal, maybe just use wire/metal cable ties and attach it in a way to deflect heat from melting nearby wires.
