Hey guys

Im looking at ordering 2 sets of the SPC Performance adjustable bolts that can be used for both camber and/or toe. Im getting 2 sets so I can use these for the camber and toe arms, saves ordering another set later if needed. They increase the amount of adjustable camber or toe to 3deg - or +.

Here is a link to them them.

http://www.spcalignm...om&to=AsiAustTo

Im wanting to know if anyone else wants a set as then I can place an order and we can split the postage on them from the US as additional items are free postage. The price I can get them for is $21 with current exchange rate, for a set of 2 bolts to do either the camber arms or toes arms. If you want to do both arms like me you need to order 2 set (4 bolts) The combines postage is $50 split between how ever many sets are ordered.

Let me know asap as I want to place an order in the next few days. These also fit the V35. I will confirm the price when the order will be place to check the limit of sets I can order in the combined postage.

This linked part is the item I will order so please check yourself that its correct for your car as I will take no responsibility for wrong items, just to cover my a*rse nyaanyaa.gif

Cheers

Not a prob, Ill see how many more I get over the next couple days.

How many sets are you after, 1 or 2?

Cheers

No worries.

Sorry, I edited my post after the fact; 2 sets.

Just waiting on an email back from them. Im also looking into having them made here in Adelaide as it could be quicker and easier, just trying to price them up. This way I can get it made from my existing bolt in my M35 so I know 100% they will fit and work. Ill get the washers laser cut and use high tensile bolts for them. Will let you all know the price of the local made bolts asap.

Yeah Im assuming its the part number I have listed. There is 2 part numbers that fit the G35. 1st is the same part number as Ive listed that also fits the 350Z and the 2nd part number also fits the 370Z, so I should have the correct part number in mind.

I have seen some a/market brands make these with a captive washer at the head while others don't have this head washer captive. I can't see that it matters if they aren't captive as they them have them fitting with a D slot in the washer and bolt machined accordingly.

So any other takers on these? Placing the order before the end of the week.

So far its:

Myself x 2 sets

Daleo x 2 sets

Scotty nm35 x 2 sets

The people interested I will PM bank details for payment in the next couple days.

Cheers

What cambers arms did you order? M35 as far as I know, has a camber arm on its own, the g35/v35 arm doesn't fit the m35. The only camber arm I've found for the m35 is out of Japan for around $600 and these are only modified factory arms. This is why I'm going with the SPC bolts.

Apparently the mount just needs to be altered. You have to either compress the U shaped mount to shrink it, or put washers in like the shocks.

They better fit, second time lucky from this guy! He has them fitted to his M35 though, so should be fine.

They M35 shocker mounts to that arm but I don't think it does on the V35. You won't have any where to mount the bottom of your shocker if you use the V35 arm. So I don't see that working.

Ok guys, I have confirmed the correct kit for our M35 Stagea from SPC Performance themselves. The kit we need is this http://www.spcalignment.com/component/spc/?task=part_description&pid=72265&region=AsiAust&make=Nissan&model=370Z&year=2009+-+2011&from=AsiAustFrom&to=AsiAustTo

This is a 90mm long bolt where as the V35 bolt is only 80mm long. I measured up a bolt in my M35 and its 87mm long.

At this stage we have the following orders

Myself x 2 sets

Daleo x 2 sets

Scotty nm35 x 2 sets

Commsman x 2 sets

The price per set of 2 bolts is $21 plus a split cost from the $50 postage from the US. This will be worked out when the orders are closed on this wednesday and I know the amount of kits to be ordered. There will then be a postage cost of around $10 for the guys outside of SA, this will be confirmed on a case by case bases or I can post them to one guy in each state and he can arrange to have you pick them up from him. This will again save a bit of postage for everyone. Again it will be priced dependant on how they are sent.

So anyone else wanting the bolts will need to place their interest by wednesday and then I will PM people my bank details wednesday night, 16 Nov, to make make payment so it clears friday or monday to then place the order monday 21 Nov

Cheers guys

Here's a pic of the camber arm I'm talking about, on M35 suspension:

They're coming from the guy who sold me the toe arms. I've had to return them as they don't fit M35s, even after being told they did. Apparently the guy has an M35 and has these camber arms fitted. I can't see any reason why the rear suspension would differ between M35 and NM35, if he does have a 2WD.

I'm not convinced, but rather than get a refund I figured I'd give these a crack and see how I go. If they're no good, I'll get these bolts later.

See the bolt inside the red oval I marked, thats the M35 Stagea lower shocker mount bolt. Notice its not on that a/market arm, thats because they don't fit the M35 Stagea.

    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).

    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
