People had been trying anf doing that move all race weekend. It didnt work this time as Maldanado is a bit of a hatchet man and Lewis left him no room, which was silly give he had one and a half laps to go on fried tyres and was going backwards anyway.... I cant lie...i pissed my pants with joy when Hamo ended up in the wall :)

BUT, post race, Hamo was a champ. He wasnt crying wounded victim, he handled the post race really well...so maybe if that attitude continues then I can start to like the guy again

Dan was having a good race until Petrov, which was a shame as he would have ended up 7th or 8th

Schumacher holds onto third.

Accused by Mark Webber of using his DRS under a yellow flag situation, Schumacher had to face the stewards on Sunday evening.

Team boss Ross Brawn was confident he would not face a penalty, telling the BBC that he had ' personally double-checked the data and Schumacher stopped using is 30m before the yellow flag zone so he's confident there won't be a penalty.'

And after examining the evidence the stewards ruled that Schumacher had slowed sufficiently and he retained his third.

Hamo isn't just a magnet for it - he created the situation that caused it by pushing overtaking cars off the track when he clearly wasn't going to be able to hold onto the position anyway. How many other passes happened in that exact way all day long? Every other driver managed to get through cleanly, by choosing to allow a car width for the car that was beside them rather than risking a collision by forcing them off the track. Everybody except Hamilton, that is. he chose the 'risk collision' option and got away with bullying the Renault in exactly the same way the lap before, but Maldonardo was just as obstinant as Hamilton and the inevitable happened...

I think its a harsh penalty for Maldonardo.

As much as I wanted to see Williams get a podium - it was Maldanados fault. You just dont rejoin the track and fire into the side of someone. What the shot above doesnt show was that he had four wheels off the circuit - to be honest I was surprised he got away with a 20 second penalty. He has to stop doing stupid sht - Melbourne was bad enough, then Monaco, now this.

he was only off the track because Hamilton forced him off...

if you squeeze someone that hard, you have to realise it comes with a risk of collision.

The whole situation was caused by Hamilton, who had no chance of hanging on to that position anyway.

    • That looks good, but I think you're going to need much beefier side skirts now.
    • They are daft and there's a reason it never caught on. Steering feel? We don't need no stinking steering feel!
    • I gotta pull you up on this. It's driving me crazy. A shutter is something that closes, like over a window or in a cmera. The word you want is shudder. That LSD is clearly f**ked. Take it to a diff shop and get it disassembled and examined by an expert. YOu might have plates welded together or something equally crazy.
    • Define "starting to fail". Wy not just rebuild them?
    • Check the Nistune doco. There are a few assumptions being made here that might not be valid. I will list the things that occur to me: Base map. Base map for what? Base map for Z32? Then the cranking pulse width is probably wrong for an RB25. The extra 500cc of capacity might well be enough to prevent it from catching. Base map for RB25? I don't think you can load one of those into a Z32. You have to just make the settings correct for an RB25 in the Z32 base map. That is either K or the TIM to get the pulsewidth right. Loom. You bought a loom for an RB. And you plugged it into a Z32 ECU. Did you make sure that any iwre differences were swapped. From memory, there's at least a couple. And as per the others, I would suggest making sure that the fuel pressure is correct while cranking and that the injectors are actually flowing as expected. They really must come out and go on the bench, unless you do find that you have messed up as per above points. I would also suggest watching in Nistune to make sure that everything is reading correctly. That the correct binary flags are raised at the right time (like the crank signal), that there's no stupid values in K or TIM. That you have not got mismatched firmware for the ECU and/or a wrong image loaded.
