I dont work for NU FINISH or am getting paid to write this but i just tried there product and it was excellent ! I recently just used kitten wax compound and never again will I. I applied it, Looked great, Felt great and smelt great BUT when it rained for a bit and then the sun came up and dried it there was droplets that had left little drop sized marks all over the car :(. On my trip to autobahn i had a chat and he tried selling a 50 dollar bottle of polish. wasnt keen. Got new finish and what can i say. Applying it is that friggin easy. With kitten you had to rub it in and make sure there was no residue which takes a good chunk of time. NU FINISH, Damp cloth and clean cloth. Chuck it on ( i did it in direct sunlight) within twenty seconds it drys up and with the clean cloth you simply run it over the white stuff and it flakes off leaving a smooth even layer over the paint. It is nice and shiny but didnt give it a fake look if you can get what im saying, It didnt look like someone has thrown a bottle of wax on it. Some would say it looked like NU paint :P The weather were i am is super random and at the moment its raining yet being super hot and im assuming thats what the kitten stuff didnt like but NU FINISH. It looks great, no droplets, no uneven patches just shiny smooth paint. Any one whos is proud of there car i highly recommend it. I just thought id share my story of how impressed i was. Its the orange bottle which says NU FINISH cant miss it.

Hi.

You have all probably seen the add nufinish do where they apply the product to a car and put it through a car wash 52 times. After 52 washes it still beads (wow). When they apply the product they don't rub it of to a shine. Merely put the car through 52 times and of course the excess polish washes of and it still beads.

Hi.

The nufinish add where they put a car through a carwash 52 times you have probably seen. When they apply the product they don't rub it off to a shine merely put the car through the carwash and after 52 washes the excess product is washed off and it still beads(wow).

I believe every advertisement I see on television because they're entirely factual and not just intended to make you go and buy things.whistling.gif

The advertising industry is known for its transparency, honesty and commitment to product testing, ensuring the customer gets the best possible product; not just promoting the product they're being paid to promote.thumbsup.gif

You seem like an intelligent, go-getter, if you live in Sydney; I like to present you with an incredible opportunity to own a large Grey Bridge over Sydney Harbour; just send me all your money now!

Totally legit.

It's entirely possible that Nu Finish is not as amazingly amazing as the ad purports; in the 30 secs of footage I didn't see anything do anything 52 times least of all a car going through a carwash. I realise this may come as a bit of a shock.ohmy.gif

Chaz Dean doesn't give a f**k what anyones hair looks like; he only gives a f**k what his bank balance looks like. Doing stomach crunches in front of the TV for 3 minutes a day will not enable you lose 300 pounds to have a rock hard body in 6-12 weeks either.

Hey guys,

I'm not paid by Nu-Finish™ or anything but I will say that Nu-Finish™ is absolutely sensational.

I have only used Nu-Finish™ on my [R34 Skyline] once this year and it has an unbeatable shine that just can't be beat.

Not sure if you guys know this but Nu-Finish™ rated #1 by leading consumer testing magazines for protection, durability, gloss improvement and best retail value.

Highly recommended, if you want a free sample just PM me.

    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
