I'm not sure the differences between the 34's and 33's. But I know on mine I have a loom that runs inside the guard, so it would be the earth for that. I think That may include the lights but so it may have been the issue. As for why it happened in the first place.... well not to sure. May have just been pure coincedence, just keep an eye on it

The starting problem happened again...

As soon as I turn key to ignition, a few dash lights went off, interior dome light went off and it seem like there's hardly any power to the starter motor. And that's after 15-20mins of driving (drove to a petrol station and turn car on after refuel).

Then I realised, the "earth strap"? from the engine to chassis is snapped (might have accidentally snapped it while taking off turbo heat shield), then later on, I also realised my seat belt light on my dash is blown?

So I think I'll try fixing those two problems tomorrow and see how I go lol...

upgrade your "big 3" (the battery ground, positive and engine to chassis cables) should help your charge rate a bit.
