R33 Skyline Gts

I recently purchased a 1993 R33 GTS N/A Skyline and have a few questions.

1. Did the 1993 R33's come out with dual airbags?

2. Did they come out with HICAS?

3. Did they come out with ABS

Mine has all of that but my mate has the same model and none of it and his never heard of a S1 having any of it.

I have the HICAS light under the speedo that comes on before I start the car, I have ABS and Air bag lights aswell.

Is thing behind the diff for HICAS?

If it has 2 air bags then definitely a series 2.

Might be a series 2 but has parts replaced from a series 1 which makes you think it is a series 1.

the air bag and abs lights are on the top left and HICAS is under the speedo.

The tags say that its a 93 model and as far as I can tell everything else seems to point to it is. :S

Pre sure the green plate is the one for the importing part of it. Also doesn't the S2 have a different spoiler or is that a GTS-T

That's not an s2 it's an s1 but not to sure about the dual airbags maybe it was an option

On the s2 dual airbags were standard

Previous owner owned it for about 5 years and said to his knowledge nothing has been changed on the car. Really confusing

since the VIN number has a C in it (ECR33) then it means it has hicas. if it didn't have hicas it would just be ER33.

as for ABS and passenger airbags, according to my information they were both optional extras on s1's.

im not sure on the dual airbags, but s1's definetly had a drivers airbag option

yes they definetly did come with hicas, atleast mine did

and yes they did have an optional abs

i also have a 93 r33 gts although i dont have abs or bags, just hicas

Owner would've spec'd it up, similar to seeing those few 32GTRs with airbags..

Your car seems to have all three optioned. Whomever purchased it got a spec'd up model.

I have a Series 1 with the same air bag steering wheel and it also has passangers air bag, abs and hicas (although it is a GTS-T).

The best option would be to provide a picture of the blue build plate from the firewall so I can run it through the "Nissan Fast" program to see what options the car had from the factory.
