Mow down some of those road workers and import some of them Chinese ones... maybe the roadworks will actually be done quicker and the quality can't be any worse????????

so many if buts and maybes. reading all this is better than watching the news. if it was the drivers car, it cannot be crushed if he has a loan on it or lease (the bank or finance company still own a % and sapol cannot crush a car that is not 100% owned by the person.

tip for the little boys on here, never pay out a loan on a car let the bank still own 1% then it can only be impounded not crushed. (on second thoughts, just dont be a di@khead on the roads)

D) crushing a perfectly good piece of equipment is wasteful, whether its a car or a dildo. Clean it up and sell if you must.

shuffles off to ebay to buy some chead second hand vibrators and plugs.....

My dignity and licence are both fine thankyou very much, how's yours going.

I'd say your dignity were suffering after attempting to sound like you had a brain and failing miserably. And considering I haven't lost 1 point I'd say my license was doing just fine.

But seriously who hasn't sped or done something stupid in our life. It's pretty easy to point the finger at someone when they screw up and not look in our own backyard. Big deal-the guy made a mistake-and let's face it has court, impounding,I dare dare loss of license and big$& to pay- pretty sure he will get a severe penalty that none of us would like. Why would u crush such an valuable/rare/awesome piece of machinery- he paid the money for it so I don't believe anyone has the right to take it away---- that's my two bobs worth..

+1, Well put mate

Did you throw a beer bottle across the road in front of my car on Daws road ? angry.gif

Hey mate, would not have a clue what your on about. theres no way it would of been me. I dont drink and drive and no ones allowed to drink in my car! i did see your post in the spotted section and was gonna reply to it. I do use that road to travel and when i read that i was like wtf!!!!!

Thats sucks though

Sorry mate im just pissed off , trying find the fckr who did it

As you would be, thats absolute bullshit dude. Who does that??

I have seen two other white ceffys near that way. one is a member on here and i'm pretty sure he wouldn't do that sort of shit. The other i've only recently just starting seeing and im not really sure who owns that one.

Hope you do find em cause that shit is not on and it makes me look bad!!!!!!!

Sorry dunnyboy for my typos, though I do stand by my claims that if you speed you deserve all that you get.

And if my typos are enough to distract you from the main story of a guy getting done for doing 100 in a 40 zone then so be it.

Or was it just easier to pick a random fault in my side of the conversation than to express your point of view on the subject .

mate, im not sure if you actually read the article but it clearly says he is ALLEGED to have been doing 100.

in plain english that means they have no proof he was. always two sides to a story and youre a muppet if you believe everything the media feeds to you.

especially adelaide now lol

Fair enough about the "alleged" offence, BUT, if he is found guilty I vote for "CRUSH IT".

; )

EDITED.

Maybe the state could sell it at auction. World/government is raving on about our carbon footprint so how bout they atleast sell these hoons cars to fund something worthwhile. Car isnt worth anything to anyone crushed.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
