Boxheads R32 Gt-R

Oil cooler and relocator kit is in the process of being installed, but it seems unlikely there will be room on the drivers side front to mount the cooler due to blow-off valve piping taking up most of that space. Paul seems intent there is too much stuff already around the radiator mounts to place it where most do and it seems the only option which I was looking at anyway is on the passenger side front. He has also suggested up in front of the battery which i'm not liking(possible heat source problems here) really, but not sure yet. We may have to get some new lines to reach and Jez said he goes to Pirtek, I was thinking Enzed might be able to supply the right type of hoses for this, and the oil catch can hoses which will be replaced. A Trust Airynx kit piping kit has been ordered too, so the K&N's are not going on now it seems.

So realistically we are looking to get that I can remember:

Set of 4 cheap new or used 19x9 sized tyres, probably 255-35 or thereabouts.

Coilpacks and ignition loom, looking to stick with genuine nissan as they seem to be easily capable.

Hard intercooler piping kit, to replace the big ol' black ones.

AFM Deletion pipes as they seem to be called, along with MAP sensors i believe we'll be needing(Yay or nay?).

Rocker cover gaskets and some seal thing I was told goes under the center valley cover(Rocker covers and centre one are being chromed as we speak).

There's a small 90degree plastic hoses point on the firewall, right next to the brake booster that broke when removing the hose, anybody know what this is called?

Cheers for the help so far guys, plan is to have this car running by the 30th of this month, so hopefully we can get there and come check out some of the SAU activities soon after.

    • We're a bunch of suspicious skeptics here. So when we see a new user describing themselves as a "guy" but showing "Female" in the bio, we immediately suspect "bot" and "spam". If you are legit, then welcome. If you are a spambot, then die in an AI fire. No offence (unless you're a bot). What car did your dad drive when he met your mum? (Call this a car forum Turing test, if you like). What car did your mum drive when you started school? What car did your date drive to your first formal/prom/whatever. What do the majority of the license plates in your local area have on them (the state motto, the county motto, whatever)?
    • Howdy All! Minutes from this year's AGM attached! Thank you to the old committee for a great year & good luck to the new (*cough* same) team for the year ahead! See you all soon!   SAUNSW_2024 AGM Minutes_04052024.pdf
    • Hey guys! Just rolled into this awesome community and let me tell you, I'm stoked!  Cars have been my jam for as long as I can remember, and there's nothing I love more than talking about them. It doesn't matter if it's the latest performance mods, DIY hacks that'll blow your mind, or just nerding out over engine specs –  I'm all in. I know I'm the new guy here, but I promise I'm not all talk. I want to be a part of this community, learn from the veterans, and maybe even make some friends along the way. So, whether you've been wrenching on rides for decades or just getting started like me, feel free to say hi, share some advice for a newbie, or just throw out a random car fact (because, let's face it, those are always fun!). Looking forward to getting to know you all and becoming part of this gearhead family! Thanks Pihu
