looks like the revenue targets are down again..

not far off to june.. at the start of May si would park your car in the garage and not take it outside for 2 months.

you trying to be a rock supastar NoDroG

this shit is annoying me. i met some friends at TGI's on friday and saw many a cop but didn't get pulled over lucking. i wasn't actually on chapel for very long though - no laps just in and out.

btw... R33's are the new VL, not skylines in general :D

i used to go to chapel a lot for drinks, dinner and shopping a lot... but i don't anymore because of all the cops and young hooligans.... if i do it's in the day.

anyway, that same night they had a big booze bus and flood lights set up on the Monash freeway... there were also tog's on the side of the road, but somehow i managed to get through without being breath tested or hassled by the tog's..... *sighs in relief*

btw... R33's are the new VL, not skylines in general

Naturally because R32’s are better looking, newer cars and of course more expensive. I should sell my car and buy me a few R32’s :D

damn right they are :)

you could have bought mine for 13 :D

a skyline is a skyline and a VL is a VL... you may as well sit here and converse about the likeness of an apple in comparison to an orange.

for every likeness you can come up with i bet i can come up with 2 differences...

i was talking about how common they are and the popularity of them fawkers!

plus up this side of town r32s arent rare :)

also didnt go chapel wasnt feeling to well

but i heard the police had a successful weekend in protecting the innocent by keeping an eye on "popular nightspots"

that'll teach those jap buzz box 2 litre juice hairdrying ricers from ever trying to cause trouble again..?

Just wondering has anyone from here got defected at Chapel over the weekend?

And if yes, what did u get defected for?

they block it off just about every friday night... and for a bout 3-4 weeks straight they blocked it off and just handed out the canaries.

(this was about 1-2 months ago)

bottom line is this.

Go there in your line, you'll come home defected for something.

Or risk a friendly EPA visit.

EPA stations are there sometimes too testing cars.

Get picked by one of them and you'll feel it in your rear for a while

just a quickie

if you dont have a cat i.e your running a straight turbo back system

Can the EPA station detect this? and if sort of fines am i looking at? Ive asked around and some people are tellin me that its fine others are sayin it isnt

One person said its a 5k fine for not having a cat...can i just play dumb and say its the dealers fault, who i bought it off..... if it is illegal

Dox.... i don't think it is only 2 litre ricers causing trouble... i have seen just as many skyline drivers acting like fools.

Blade.... just get a gutted cat and you will be fine... unless they take your exhaust apart on the side of the road.

    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
    • Hmm not really, I'd say its race car life or modified car life when you make 3 or 4 times the power Nissan designed the car for lol.
    • I'll let others with more breakage chime in, but I can't think of anyone who had a problem with the standard centre plate before they had a problem with the standard gears - the plate generally just gets replaced for safety when the gearset is upgraded. As for the gearsets, its not like they are OK at 600Nm and break at 601. Their longevity is a combination of how much torque you are making and how gentle you are on shifts (or not).
