225s on stock 205 r32 wheels?

Recommended Posts

just put 205s front and back and be done with it... should be a few bucks cheaper too heheh. or go for the drift look, stretch 185 or 195 rubber onto the rim. can be done no prob, just the workers at the tyre shops hate to do it cuz it's harder work for them. say goodbye to sidewall flex and hello sideways action :(

I used to have 215s on the back, and 205s on the front, possibly 50 series profile.

Since then I've replaced them with 225/55s all round, haven't noticed the flex a huge amount, but it's still noticable on hard cornering, might've been better off with 215s on the front methinks.

I'm just curious to see how they wear, as there's a slight buldge in the sidewall even with the right tyre pressure.
