blind_elk
*Sigh* I googled Skylines and ended up on a forum(This one) which is apparently specifically FOR Skylines. I then asked the difference between 2 types on said forum, and your solution is to google it again? Where do you think I'm going to end up? I don't need specifics, Just a general overview of the differences. Any proper answers would be appreciated. GT-R is nominally approx 310 (flywheel) kW, roughly twice the power of the GTSt, and considerably more power than the non-turbo GTSs. GT-R has AWD (some non-GT-Rs also have AWD). Have a read through the forum and you will more than likely find the answer to any question you might have about Skylines. mikeyR33-T
Even with restrictions, such as in VIC, you still see P-platers driving restricted vehicles. All the P-platers on SAU driving R33 GTSts, for instance. And you see them driving SS Commodes, XR6T Falcoons, etc. So don't assume that P-platers driving high performance / power vehicles means no restrictions. THEY are the lucky ones, IF you ever get pulled over by a cop and you're on Ps (unless you were on them before the laws changed) you will most likely lose your license. Even S.A has just brought in this LAW, that stops P platers from driving/owning anything more then a V6 and even some 6s are high performance if they are supercharged. THE only way they would be so lucky is if the car was in their parents name, and they didnt go through an RBT, because it is a big NO-NO in most states now! but yeah a few are lucky! even IF someone got an exemption; a turbo/twin turbo import would be the last car to get one but WA is lucky in this case, as they per usual are behind the rest of the country (good thing for P platers in WA) even tho WA has the worst drivers in Aus! lived there for 2yrs too long Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/391346-p-plater-buying-a-skyline/page/2/#findComment-6230851 Share on other sites

Try 280-300hp @ fly and about 190-220 hp at wheels STOCK. GTST would have around 150-170hp at wheels STOCK. Out of all the 1000000+ results that come up on Google Search when you type in "Nissan Skyline" at least one is going to tell you the differences between a GTS-T and a GT-R...
