E10

I have been running my C34 on E10 for years. It is tuned for it. I don't know if you will see any benefit if you don't have any means of tuning your car although it may clean up the fuel system. Tip: after running on E10 for 1000km or so change your fuel filter(s) as any gunk in the tank may have been liberated!

I am keen to change to E85 but its not readily available at the pumps and I'm not prepared to buy it by the drum as I could be stranded when away from home.

my only reason for it is it is a bit cheaper. but i know some older cars fuel systems don't agree with it

i havent seen it in 100ron but i used to use it in 98ron in my last car.

cheers

Yep. United's 100RON E10 (90% PULP98 and 10% ethanol) without issue

Have also run the Mitsi 380 on it which it loves. It's Bosch ECU self tunes (considerably) for the octane of the fuel.

Yes you can.

I don't think its any cheaper than pulp, but I guess it depends where you go.

I find better performance on the United 100 octane E10, but not much in it. Car just seems to run nicer.

They have a pretty good web site, and if you can't find it on there you can always email and ask. They're pretty good at replying with info on when it'll be available and why it isn't.

    • You could try some less aggressive pads on the rear. I found (a long time ago when all my brakes were stock 32) that using the same (Bendix Ultimate) pads at both ends made the rear bias excessive. I strongly suspect that the stock Nissan pads probably use a different material, but aftermarket pads will usually be the same material regardless of what pad they are put onto. That bias situation did get better when I put R33 calipers on the front AND used the same pads - just transferred them from old to new calipers. So you should feel the difference with the change you're making. But certainly do not forget the option to change the rear pads down a grade or two.
