yeah my brother-in-law rang me earlier and said he saw that yellow R34 and an identical Nismo kitted silver R34 in the same carpark at Golden Grove tonight! Apparently that yellow R34 has a Kansai sticker on it - I didn't realise Terry brought in whole cars.

Yeah thats my bros car, his username on here is FADIE too.

Ah yep, thats the one. He must not be on here very often.

Spotted [CELTS 5] (think thats it) again on sunday, was in the noarlunga cinema carpark, was around 3.10pm, was gone by 4.40pm. Dont think the owner is on here tho. Anyone know the owner of the maroon/pinky looking R33gts-t with [HADDAD] on the plates?. Used to work in colonnades some place i think..

Haddad is a family friend of mine, think he works/worked in a phone shop down there. He used to have those plates on a vs clubby.

Yes that seems to be matty. Keeping a low profile it seems.

SPOTTED another XR6t off the road for good up @ St Agnes Bus Depot my neighbor smashed his new 2 week old Xr6t possibly drink drinking, and i can tell you no sympathy from anyone in our street

will possibly be on the news tonight as camera crews were there this morning but i heard someone had to be cut out the car also there was half the car still @ the crash site

edit

just came back from ttp and saw a nice R34 with blitz sticker on front window and couple of cars up a R32 4door then on way home a nice silver R33 @ pelican plaza lights heading to city

na sorry we dont talk to them

there first weekend in the street they partied like it was 1999 :P didnt stop all night , the next weekend i wake @ 4am sunday morning and called the police

so basically there pretty inconsiderate

i was almost gunna ask him if he had an alarm lined up for it yet when i got home from taking Jema swimming there was stones all over the road from where his mate went up his driveway and did a little burnout on the stones basically adjacent our driveway, thats when i thought not telling you about an alarm i hope someone steals it then the very night well 1:30am he drives off from out front of his house and 15 mins theres all this commotion out the fron of his house then i see that wreckage the next day

my guess is that they were driving down NE rd and hit that bend @ 120+kph lost it and sideswiped the transadelaide gate i heard someone had to be cut out the car so Chris from tyreplus says

yesterday on the way to Mildura i seen a white R33, i dunno if that was still in SA or not but yeah lol

in Mildura i seen a nice black R34, had a custom plate but i couldn't see what it was

ahh on the way back today i seen a grey/black R33

last night coming down stradbroke road past the morialta reserve, I saw a cop car, pissed myself cause I thought it was some sort of RBT/Defect station but I didnt really think so, slow down as I went passed and theres this guy lieing on the floor motionless and the cops just standing next to his car lookin at me like "oh I'll get you one day" and then as I turn right then left onto stradbroke road heading to coles I see an ambulance heading that way with no lights on. me thinks the fellow on the ground was dead. makes sense that the cops were there first.

they usually send a meat truck to someone that has died not ambulances

i will be finding out a little more information about that XR6t that crashed yesterday as one of my mates mum was Head officer @ the scene

EDIT

found this on News.com.au

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man driving a Ford XR6 hit a Stobie pole on North East Rd, St Agnes about 1.30am yesterday.

He was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with injuries to his head and legs.

Spotted a silver R33 S2 at the Goodwood KFC during lunch hour... He had his car parked beside mine... hehehe.. Anyone here?

Also spotted VANGE MOBILE today as he was enjoying the beautiful scene at the torrens river with someone special.... :) That probably explains why the "VANGE MOBILE SPOTTED THREAD" has been significantly reduced lately... :) lol Just kidding mate.. It's good to see ya around.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
