Ive been using Swisse Mens Ultivite for a few months now, its the best multi I have ever used, Im 46yrs old now and was feeling that my early morning PT sessions were getting harder due to motivation and early fatigue, since swapping my multi to the Swisse brand I have found new found energy and endurance.

Im a big fan.

Personally not a huge fan of multi vits. Before using them, ask yourself why are you using them? Are you lacking something in your diet? Are you pregnant and need folate ( I am assuming your not ) if you answer no to these then reconsider.

Sunrise morning show has a female doctor on there once a week who is continually saying that studies are showing next to no benefits in taking vitamins, in same cases it actually made things worse.

I was sick for over 2months and unfortunately could not eat much, this was when I used them as I had no other way of getting vitamins. As soon as I could eat I went back off them.

I have some Swiss stuff at home, but its the herbal formula, dont take it to regularly due to me always dry wrenching after breakfast. Must admit, Ive used multi's in the past and never really noticed a difference, but thats how it is with fish oil for me as well.

Believe what you will, but no diet no matter how good can give you everything you need! Multi's & other sups simply fill in the holes & guarantee that you are not missing anything that your body needs to function at its best! Go study med, anatomy, nutrition, pharmacology & bio-molecular chemistry if your are unsure of the potential benefits!

Begs the question though, If you do not agree with, understand or dislike sups, then why are you reading & posting here, other than to push your own agenda? Troll much?

Anyway to the OP question, yes I have used Swisse Ultivite F1 (gluten free) for several years now & I will forever! That and Sustagen Sport, swear by that stuff!

I dont feel any dif from taking them (been on them for 9months daily) but yeah the piss is fluro... so its doing something.

I also take BioC daily, Im a daily commuter to the city and Im trying to avoid a cold/flu so far its worked....

If you can be bothered, find out how much of each mineral is "CLAIMED" to be in your MV.

then find out how much of each of those is recommended for you.

My point is that MV don't have enough of anything in them to be of any use.

If you really think you are low on iron, calcium, semen, folate, c, d, etc etc - get a seperate bottle of each and take as required.

So hang on, you're the only one that's permitted to have an opinion? What is your agenda? Hipocrisy much?

You don't need to "study med, anatomy, nutrition, pharmacology & bio-molecular chemistry" to have a basic grasp of this stuff; these multi-vitamin products are NOT medicinal, this is why Swisse were slapped on the wrist for their spurious advertising claims.

If they were actual medications, they would have actual medical data and multiple years of clinical trials to back them. They don't.

I'm not anti-vitamin, but as GTST said; if you have a vitamin/mineral deficiency; target it PROPERLY, rather than taking a bunch of minute doses in one tablet.

"Swisse did not provide evidence to support many claims but did present one report to the panel that proved the Women's Ultivite product helped improve symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome by 50 per cent.

However, the same study indicated that a non-active placebo also improved symptoms by 28 per cent."

And that's just one of their "Products"...

Daleo I never said you cant express your opinion, and you seem to have no trouble doing so, but my point was that if your not interested in this product, then why are you reading and commenting on it, when the op asked about people who were?

Long story short, taking it is better than not imo however small the benfits are! I have never read their advertising, but i have/do study those topics at uni, as does my house mate whos doing his phd in med & we both believe in the benefits of sups!

GTST a semen deficiency, really?!

    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
    • Well they got my money but they are not getting my gearbox !
    • It's needed for rolling idle up, and I think it is a decider on VCT also.
    • I mean, not really. Link ECU's can absolutely still have errors from the ECU thinking it's getting a sensor it's not expecting. I would imagine the speed at the ECU level in Nistune does absolutely nothing anyway? I assume the ECU does not do any fancy TC stuff with regards to front+rear wheel speed or anything of that like anyway. Someone who uses Nistune may be more fluent in it.
