Badges...

We're all familiar with current badges/logos.

But does anyone here know when then these other badges/logos were operating or for what periods of time?

I'm presuming correctly aren't I, that there must be some overlapping?

BNR32 enthusiasts. I have just found out that the Omori factory BNR32 inlet pipes are for install at omori only. I tried to order them and they would not sell. Even though I had about 8 thousand dollar parts order lol, so I will have some nice pics in a month or so :). They say NO!!!!! It is because of the customization that is needed to fit them. I guess they don't want shoddy jobs all over the world mis-representing their parts. This is kind of upsetting as I believe the carbon fiber pipes will be the same way once they are released. Which is what I originally wanted. So you are either stuck with stock customized twin turbo pipe, or go aftermarket and lose factory air box. Really disappointing. I think this is a new thing because people have bought them when visiting omori factory personally. They must have changed there minds for some reason. I really do like the look of the Trust air suction kit (which im sure sounds really good to). But I like that stock, nismo, look :( It's a sad sad day......but on the bright side....I got a 2k refund LOL. Maybe i'll just get some suspension arms or something instead.

Unless you ship your car to them for work to be done. Which would be totally awesome....but super expensive lol.

Thats a shame mate, i think with some of the really limited stuff they are getting tired of foreigners cleaning out their stock and having nothing left for their own customers.

You might be able to find a second hand set in the future so keep an eye out. If i see one ill let you know :)

Yes thank you. At this point, if they release carbon intake pipes, I might just save up and ship the car over for engine overhaul and carbon intake pipes. But that would be in the future lol. If I'm going to ship a car to them, I might as well make the trip worth it.

I guess you missed the part where I said engine overhaul lol. Either S2 or just a final spec. Depends really on what it would cost and funds etc. My life style is pretty crazy lol. But there is plenty of things you can have done while its there. If the only way to get these parts, is by them only, then I'll do what I have to do. Custom Omori name plate in the engine bay would be a nice touch also. It's more than a hobby to me. But as far as intake goes, I wouldn't bother for the aluminum. If they come out with carbon pipes and the box, then I would take this idea a little more seriously.

Actually though i saying that...

You avoid the taxes on the new parts if you ship your car in. If you are looking at buying that much worth of stuff, the tax you don't pay probably pays for the shipping.

ah yes I didn't even think of that. Not to mention the shipping of actual part from Japan to USA would have to be added in individual item prices to. So it would probably come close to the same. I know you can get engine overhaul anywhere. But I want a nismo motor(if possible). I basically have all the nismo bolt ons already available to public and GCG hi flowed -7s. I'm waiting till the engine starts to show fatigue though before thinking of crate motor or just general overhaul

    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
