1) ive put a walboro 400lph pump into a mates r32 gtr, was piss easy

2) nismo is direct fit into hoses and airbox(same physical size as stock units) Z32 is larger size (80mm) will need to modify air box or use pods, pipes can be stretched to make these fit

1) I put the Walbro in my 32, was a simple process and basically a bolt in, you just have to run a wire from battery ( I went from the alternator ) to the plug in the top of the tank, the walbro needs more voltage to work it best

2) As SiR_RB said, which is why I suggested the Apex'i kit, they have one that adapts to the Z32s and is what I have on the 32 and made a massive difference over the HKS pods I took off ( they where modified to suit the 80mm Z32s )

The setup on my 34 was a really good street combo, PFC, 600cc injectors with nismo FPR and nismo pump, -7s ( though after seeing Seans 34 with -9s I say go the -9s ), full exhuast ( though since you have a 33 just do from the dumps back, 80mm cat and 3.5 inch back ) cam gears set for response ( I had poncams but not necessary ) I had stock AFMs with the stock airbox, if you where going to put a stock airbox then I would say Nismo AFMs but if your happy with pods then get the Apex'i kit and the 80mm AFMs, with that it made 310+rwkw on 19-20psi

-9's are slightly more expensive because they don't come with actuators, but you would probably want to put adjustable actuators on them anyway. -7's do come with non-adjustable actuators but they are 14.7psi (1 bar) actuators from memory.

So i take it i need these,

+ some adjustable actuators

Random thought; Will the stock gearbox/diff's be able to take the extra power?

The GCG adjustable actuators are so much cheaper than HKS adjustables: http://www.gcg.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=556&category_id=39&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=101

You can re-use the factory actuators but they will cause all types of problems around 18psi because of the weak springs.

Yes. Just have a little mechanical sympathy... IE DONT be a complete and utter moron with it and they will be fine.

Z32 and Nismo AFM's are not truly identical. There is ever so slight difference in the resolution/mapping of the AFM voltage.

Its minimal and hence for all intents and purposes they are "the same". Go Nismo however - cannot beat bolt in replacement.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
