Against my better judgment I'm going to give this a go today to inspect the mechanisms that hold the glass, as the glass rattles, window up or down, and both sides too. I'm think there will be some locating lugs and they're worn.

Something like this thread but for the R32 GTR would be terrific but I can't find anything.

Can you link me up if there is something. If not, could someone give me some top tips. Hard to find screw locations, tricky bits, the overall order in which you go about it etc.

Thanks.

Here's one for the 33 also. Read this: http://www.skylinesa...rattling+window

The 32 is same and fairly easy and just use common sense

Door handle surround comes out easy (no screws)

Lift the electric window panel and remove cabling

Remove plug and screw from door handle insert, remove

Locate and remove the screws around the door card extremeties (about 5) none hidden

The door card is clipped in also. Remove with caution and use a flat head screw driver as close to each clip as you can

Lift the door card and jiggle till it is free

Ta Da

Adjust and re-assemble in reverse order

Otherwise that should be it. Once you remove the trim around the door handle, the plastic trim & screw for the door pull.

It should just pop off easily. The GT-T has an extra screw point up the front over a R33 GTR, so i'd say a R32 GTR wouldn't have this either.

There might also be 3 screws along the bottom of the door skin holding it in place.

Then just pry the locator plugs out (just slowly by hand is fine, start from the bottom), and then lift up and off it comes!

Argh me harties. All went to plan. Passenger side has a couple more screws. One is obvious as it's in the handle only on the passenger side and has a clip in cover over it. The other you need to pop out the window switch and it's sitting in behind there. Adjustment pretty easy. Took it for a quick drive and to an extent the adjustment has worked but there's still more rattling things in there.

Thanks for your input.
